Quite a few wrestlers talked about wanting to do mma, but it was a bunch of lies. The Rock, Undertaker, and Kurt Angle just to name a few.

Angle was actually in talks to do that heavyweight season of TUF, while his story of the negotiations are a little different than Dana’s they both agree that it was something that was on the table at one point. Even at that time I think he would have done pretty well, not a lot of guys can deal with the level of wrestling he brought to the table.

Even Taker is more believable than Rock, he hung around the sport before it was super popular. He was also a lot more old school than Rock who just came up through wwe developmental. Rock is straight clout chasing, I don’t think there’s one iota of truth to his claim.
