I'm in complete agreement.

Arman fighting for the belt doesn't interest me in the slightest.

This is one of the rare cases where I hope Dana exercises executive override and goes right to Paddy v. Topuria. Paddy WILL make the run-up to the fight entertaining as fuck with his shit-talking, and I also think his size is going to present a LOT more problems for Topuria than people realize.

Gamrot fights anyone they put in front of him, and just fought down with a tough prospect, and has already beaten Arman. Let Paddy & Justin fight, let Arman and Gamrot fight, and whoever puts on the best performance in those two title eliminators, gets the next crack at Ilia.

I just can't see how it's fair to the rest of the division and if they are just going to give him the next shot, why didn't they just give him the last one?

Because his punishment was making him sit out and not get paid while another fight got the titke shot.

I do too, But I HATE the idea that armen should get to Miss weight and screw a fight up, THEN sit out some more not have to take any risks, remain FULLY RESTED for over a year with no fight mileage (last fought charles in 2024 april) Then should get to just walk back into the picture like "whats up?"

The guy he beat to earn his title shot, Has already fought twice, and got back to the title before him.

I just don't see where's the punishment unless he has to fight again. It's basically just been a vacation for him while everyone else has to work. The idea that Armens title fight is SO earned that he can sit out for 18 months (Minimum), watch 2 title fights go by and STILL claim to be next in line is a bit crazy to me.

He just did a full camp and weight cut for nothing...also, who is in a better position to fight for the belt? The one that should be fighting or had been fighting Topuria is looking to fight for the WW belt, Tsarukyan is a perfectly fine fight, now that it looks like Pimblett isnt getting it, then its even more obvious.

If it means Arman is getting the next LW shot, that's a pretty good co-main. A bigger fight than Pimblett should get, about right for Gaethje, rates to be entertaining, and rates to be vastly less embarrassing than booking Pimblett for a title shot. I'd have Gaethje as the slight-to-moderate favorite.

I have Paddy as a moderate favorite.
