There's no sequel to Dredd, bud.

There is the terrible Sly Stallone movie from the 90's titled Judge Dredd, and there's another standalone film from 2011 called Dredd. There should have been a sequel to Dredd, it was amazing. Unfortunately, it didn't do well in theaters and didn't find its audience until it made it to DVD and streaming services.
I meant the raid

I used to watch mad max fury road, dredd, and the raid back to back sometimes rambo 4 .

I'll watch Both back to back , giving the edge slightly to the Raid for introducing giving Silat a bigger audience in the west.

I didn’t elaborate earlier, but I loved that they not only got the tone of Dredd right, but they also made the comic book world of Mega City One a little more believable.

While Stallone’s Dredd is a guilty pleasure of mine. He totally butchered the character of Judge Dredd. Taking the helmet off to see his face and the love angle is a cardinal fucking sin. Dredd loves the law and that’s it.

I love that Judges in the Urban movie are more human in that they could be corrupted, unlike mostly in the comic. As I said, Stallone’s movie is a guilty pleasure, because there are things they got right from that comic universe. I think if Urban had done that movie too, it would have done way better.

Honestly, I’m not sure if Dredd is more like the modern day version of the current comic book Judge Dredd. The Judge Dredd image and tone I grew up with was more like the shitty movie version minus Stallone’s fucking ugly mug.

TL;DR: Both movies got things right. Dredd was just more believable.

the raid was amazing. imo, it was the best action movie i've ever seen. it paid homage to hard boiled... but ironically blew it away.

...too bad they made a "sequel."

i thought dredd was pretty terrible. but i also saw it shortly after the raid.

The Raid simply because it leads right into a top 3 GOAT action film, The Raid 2: Redemption.

WAT

that movie was horrible. and it was so obviously a completely different movie with rama shoehorned into it so they could call it a sequel and try to ride the raid's success.

it was like the anti-raid. signature weapons? ugh.
