Rose is an Italian fortune teller who wields a mysterious form of energy known as Soul Power. Inspired by JoJo's Bizarre Adventure character Lisa Lisa, Rose is a wise and sophisticated character who seeks to rid the world of evil, particularly focusing on eliminating M. Bison's evil energy.

Emanuela Postacchini is one of the actresses I’ve had in my back pocket for a while now and is my top choice for Madame Masque in an MCU movie. It’s a relief to finally cast the Italian beauty in something. Her recent works include The Seven Faces of Jane (2022), Robots (2023) and Riff Raff (2024).

First appearing in Super Street Fighter II Turbo as a hidden final boss, Akuma is an emotionless and powerful Japanese warrior fixated on mastering the Satsui no Hado, and the younger brother of Gouken. After defeating his brother, Akuma gains interest in several fighters, most notably Ryu as he senses that the protagonist has a similar power to him.

I specifically wanted a Japanese person with a big, imposing figure to play Akuma. I went with Japanese professional wrestler Konosuke Takeshita. At 6’2” and 250 lbs., Takeshita is currently signed to American promotion All Elite Wrestling (AEW) and is also signed to Japanese promotions DDT Pro-Wrestling and New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW). They can just age Takeshita up and make his face demonic with make-up and prosthetics.

Serving as the main protagonist in the Street Fighter III series, Alex is an American from New York who enters the World Warrior tournament after its sponsor, Gill, seriously injures his best friend and father figure, Tom.

Alexander Ludwig received recognition in his younger years for starring in films like The Seeker: The Dark Is Rising (2007), Race to Witch Mountain (2009) and The Hunger Games (2012). He is also known for his supporting roles in Lone Survivor (2013), Bad Boys for Life (2020) and Guy Ritchie's The Covenant (2023). He starred as legendary Viking Björn Ironside in the History Channel series Vikings (2014–2020) and had a lead role in the Starz drama series Heels (2021–2023).

First appearing in Street Fighter IV, Crimson Viper (real name Maya) is an undercover CIA agent who fights using an assortment of gadgets hidden within her battle suit. When Crimson Viper is not doing missions, she is shown to be a loving mother for her daughter Lauren.

Snake Eyes (2021) may have been a terrible movie but Ursula Corbero as the Baroness made a strong impression on me and that’s why I’m casting her as Crimson Viper. Corbero’s screen credits includes Money Heist (2017 – 2021), Lift (2024) and The Day of the Jackal (2024 –).

Elena is a lighthearted, nature-loving capoeira fighter from Kenya who is currently studying abroad. Fighting solely with leg-based attacks using Capoeira, Elena has been praised for her beauty and the fluidity of her motion.

Samantha Logan is an American actress best known for her lead role in The CW sports drama series All American (2018-). She also appeared in 666 Park Avenue, General Hospital, Teen Wolf and 13 Reasons Why.

Ibuki is a young ninja-in-training from an ancient clan who would rather live a normal life of a modern female Japanese teenager.

Shioli Kutsuna is my choice for the young Ibuki. The Japanese actress made a big impression on me with her cute, bubbly, adorable role as Yukio in Deadpool 2. She also appeared in the Apple TV+ series Invasion (2021-), The Outsider (2018), Sanctuary (2023) and Deadpool & Wolverine (2023).

Dudley is a well-mannered English boxer with a disdain for dirty fighting. Known for his impeccable manners and stylish appearance, Dudley is also characterized by his love for roses, his butler, Gotch, and a strong sense of chivalry.

Looking at Dudley, I wanted a huge, burly English professional prize fighter for the role. Tom Aspinall (6’5” height) just clicked all the boxes (except for acting lol) and it helps that the current UFC heavyweight champion looks a bit like Dudley.

Juri Han is a brutal South Korean taekwondo martial artist who derives pleasure from inflicting pain on others. She is employed by S.I.N. and an underling to the main antagonist of Street Fighter IV, Seth. Juri has been described as "sultry" and "sex-crazed", and she is unique within the series due to her practice of Taekwondo.

I’ve been dying to cast Adeline Rudolph in something ever since I saw her in Chilling Adventures of Sabrina (2018 – 2020). The Hong Kong born actress of German and Korean descent has always been my top choice to play Psylocke or Kwannon. Rudolph can next be seen later this year as Kitana in Mortal Kombat II (2025).

First introduced in Street Fighter IV, Seth is the main antagonist and final boss of the game and its subsequent updates. He is the chief executive officer of the Shadaloo Intimidation Network (S.I.N.), the weapons division of the Shadaloo terrorist organization in the game's narrative. His body has been heavily modified using advanced technology, with a device installed in his abdomen called the "Tanden Engine".

Fun thing Ken being full white blond guy with blue eyes is common misconception

Correct version is the one with black eyebrows and dark eyes he have in most games

He's like 3/4 asian and made his hair blond just to piss off his parents when he was kid, then he sticked with it

Even the "Masters" surname (wich was made up by Capcom USA iirc) is bit bs they end up canonizing it since his dad is Japanese (mom is half japanaese half american), so at best could be mother's surname

They shouldn't include any of the B listers first time round. Even DeeJay and Fei Long is going to far. Fei Lung is just Bruce Lee.

I did learn about that little known fact that he's 3/4 Japanese just last week when I was doing research on Ken. I still went with the Caucasian version for the casting.

yet him being blue eyes white guy is something that got stuck into western audience mind (up to some guest artist official art tbh)

In capcom's mind back in SF2 days Guile was the guy for american audience, their first notes about the cast had
"Guile was intended as a normal fighter for Americans to use."

They had no clue west would have taken Ken as their boy lol

Cammy is the second female fighter in the series. She was once a deadly clone assassin that was created by Shadaloo as a replacement body for M. Bison. She worked for the organization before breaking free and becoming an MI6 operative for the British government as a member of Delta Red.

I’ve been meaning to cast British beauty Hermione Corfield for some quite time now ever since she made an impression on me in her brief appearance in Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation (2015) as the record shop girl at the beginning of the film.

I'm torn on this one, because on the one hand, it's like you shook the videogame cartridge and she fell off; but on the other hand, the stuntwoman is going to have to do practically everything, and as a general rule I like to avoid that.
