Dr Disrespect Banned From Twitch

I don’t care about this discussion at all but is someone from Scotland typically referred to as Scottish or British? I’d venture it’s the former the vast majority of times. Seems pedantic.

It was a character with a accent that someone called British, nothing pointed to them actually being Scottish. He went nuts saying it was offensive or some shit and couldn't understand that British didn't just mean English or something I don't know, it was a long time ago but it was hilarious seeing how fucked up he got about the hole thing.

yeah it was BF5 I think and I remember now he tagged someone from Scotland he knew from the WR to back him up and they told him he was wrong. He had some sort of melt down soon after and started crying about not being able to get a girlfriend because he games 10 hours a day or something haha.

To be clear, he said he liked how they were feminizing the industry, because then more girls would be accepting of his hobby, and he might get to touch a real breast one day.

It was really sad, but a very accurate representation of the motivation behind male feminists.

That sounds familiar haha man that thread was nuts. Nobody should listen to that guy everything is some weird left vs right feminists thing to him.

Ah gotcha

Is he actually good/great at games or just a personality?

I've never really liked him because he's just so over the top. That and he reminds me of Joey Ryan.

I like Doc, he's one of the few streamers who actually puts on a good show and the 80's cheese thing does it for me since I'm also an 80's baby. My guess is with how much hype is surrounded this its going to end up being something completely underwhelming. I could have sworn Doc was supposed to have some big announcement coming up on the 29th and everything just kind of lines up with that. Lets hope its just some kind of breach of contract and he isn't being me too'd. If he is being me too'd thats a damn shame because behind the character, Doc seems like a decent guy bar cheating on his wife.

There's no way he doesn't know why he's banned, so there must be a reason why he doesn't want to release the information. My guess is something embarrassing enough that he plans to hide it forever, since Twitch won't publicly release the info.
Given the current rumors, and the fact that he's not in any legal trouble, I'm gonna lean towards him being caught trying to recruit others to leave the platform. That seems plausible, and would fit with his immediate ban. If you're trying to hurt the service you're using to make your living, that's a paddlin'.

Twitch never release the reason for suspension and or ban publicly.

There's some factually errant speculation on his Reddit about Doc, Shroud, and Ninja attempting to recruit other big streamers to go and form a new streaming platform. While it's obviously invented fantasy, I have to say, considering that Twitch isn't saying a damn word to anyone--instead hoping idiots online with speculate about what terrible things Doc did-- in concert with consideration of Mixer folding, I have to say I find it credible.

Those are arguably the biggest three names in game streaming. They are an industry unto themselves. I could totally see them attempting to poach a horde of other popular streamers for a new platform, or more likely for defection to Facebook or YouTube. One wonders if Facebook or ABC promised them a lot more money for their own contracts scaling off the aggregated sum of average subscribers to all of the streamers they are able to convince to defect from Twitch.

If they pull off a mass defection Twitch will further be reduced to the glorified SJW redlight platform they've been accused of slowly becoming. Everyone is aware how they bend over backwards for the THOT whores who brings in a huge amount of non-subscription based revenue to the company. These girls don't play games, and they enjoy a thick double standard for violating policy. Drop n-bombs? No problem. You have tits!

It would be a pretty devastating blow to their credibility as the leading gaming streaming platform at a really sensitive moment for them. YouTube and Facebook have been somewhat quietly gobbling up market share the past year. Now is definitely the time for Facebook or YouTube to make a big move if they hope to become serious threats:
Facebook Gaming grows 210% in 2019 as it battles Twitch, YouTube
Gamers say they're earning more money on Facebook's streaming platform than on Twitch and YouTube

I really hope Facebook isn't the play, unless you can sign up a fan account or some shit. I don't watch much streaming, but I don't plan on signing up for Facebook if I get the itch.

So the rumors are he's starting a new streaming service backed by Spotify called Brime.

That sucks. Always like having the Two Time on while I'm working from home or cleaning some shit. Hope he comes back.

Some people think Brime is just a troll, but it's an interesting idea

Brime is a dumb name for a service, not that i have anthing better to call it.
