There's some factually errant speculation on his Reddit about Doc, Shroud, and Ninja attempting to recruit other big streamers to go and form a new streaming platform. While it's obviously invented fantasy, I have to say, considering that Twitch isn't saying a damn word to anyone--instead hoping idiots online with speculate about what terrible things Doc did-- in concert with consideration of Mixer folding, I have to say I find it credible.
Those are arguably the biggest three names in game streaming. They are an industry unto themselves. I could totally see them attempting to poach a horde of other popular streamers for a new platform, or more likely for defection to Facebook or YouTube. One wonders if Facebook or ABC promised them a lot more money for their own contracts scaling off the aggregated sum of average subscribers to all of the streamers they are able to convince to defect from Twitch.
If they pull off a mass defection Twitch will further be reduced to the glorified SJW redlight platform they've been accused of slowly becoming. Everyone is aware how they bend over backwards for the THOT whores who brings in a huge amount of non-subscription based revenue to the company. These girls don't play games, and they enjoy a thick double standard for violating policy. Drop n-bombs? No problem. You have tits!
It would be a pretty devastating blow to their credibility as the leading gaming streaming platform at a really sensitive moment for them. YouTube and Facebook have been somewhat quietly gobbling up market share the past year. Now is definitely the time for Facebook or YouTube to make a big move if they hope to become serious threats:
Facebook Gaming grows 210% in 2019 as it battles Twitch, YouTube
Gamers say they're earning more money on Facebook's streaming platform than on Twitch and YouTube
