When I saw this thread, I wondered, "Why the hell is this being dragged TTT? This is over. The Doc is dead. Why would anyone still be talking about him?" In fact, I wouldn't have had any clue he was even attempting to return if it wasn't for this necro. I saw nothing about it anywhere else.

That's exactly the sort of publicity the Doc apparently wanted. It appears those who were kicking this dead horse might end up being responsible for bringing it back to life.

Dr Disrespect has returned from his streaming hiatus two months after admitting to inappropriately messaging a minor, managing to break his max viewership record as over 200k tuned in.

Doc shared plans to take an extended hiatus alongside the statement and returned to streaming on YouTube on September 6, 2024 – and his viewership skyrocketed.

Dr Disrespect scheduled his stream on YouTube about an hour before going live, giving viewers a waiting room for his return. It started with just a couple thousand users, but by the time he went live, the broadcast had skyrocketed to a peak of 223,460 – setting the record for highest peak viewers on his channel.

It maintained that viewership while Doc addressed the allegations against him, and accused former Twitch staff Cody Conners, among others, of orchestrating an “attack” on the streamer.

Arbitration he had with Twitch dealt with revenue surrounding his exclusivity streaming contract termination. So him saying nothing illegal was found is technically true. However the arbitrator isnt the body to levy such a verdict.

Did you get a chance to listen to his full statement on his return stream? Though most aren't 100% satisfied still, he did shed a lot of light on the behind the scenes nonsense at Twitch involving the Whispers.

At this rate of coming back from personal scandal completely unscathed and even thriving, he has a very high probability of being elected President.
 
I saw some of his comeback video. Was he always this creepy? Everything down to his cadence, his laughing, calling his viewings champs, etc. comes off like a bad joker impression
