DQ wins should rarely be awarded

Change the stupid rules like no knees to the head of a downed opponent. It's one of the dumbest rules in MMA.

Punches to the back of the head are such a gray area, I find it hard to DQ someone unless they're clearly doing it on purpose. Guys moving their heads around while not looking at the opponent and dude swinging and hitting the back of their head is fair game to me.
I think a big issue as well is that there dangerous rules, they encourage fighters to put themselves in a dangerous position depending on the rules for defence rather than defending themselves.

If a fighter is clearly losing and lands a cheap shot to avoid the loss, he should lose and not be rewarded with a NC

If Bo Nickal was that good he’d already be fighting top guys, Weidman fought Sakara in his 5th fight on short notice who I believe was ranked top 15 at the time!

Not trying to nut hug Boe, and I loathe that he won with a knee to the balls, but seems to me he's trying to end the contract undefeated and challenge the bigger guys for more money, if he loses now he'll probably miss out on that contract.
Kind of a bitch tactic yeah, but it's money and the UFC does no favour to (almost) anyone.

Sterling created somewhat of a blueprint of getting a DQ win.
Once he got a taste of a DQ win, he started training on how to bait another disqualification victory.
When Sterling fought Cejudo, it was blatantly obvious he was baiting for a DQ in that fight with the way he was positioning.

Fucking idiocy. Sterling got pushed down and illegally kneed by Yan.

Cejudo also pushed him into that position and held him there because he thought that it was advantageous.

You know how to avoid being "baited" in that position? Just stand up.

Cejudo didn't want to do that because he was having a lot more trouble striking with Sterling than he thought that he would, and Sterling was controlling him on the cage.

UFC is responsible for not considering Bellal-Edwards 1 as a loss for Edwards. He should have dropped in rankings right away.

Now we have to suffer a rematch for the belt.
