I dont know how anyone can call himself a scientist and claim that blocking a puberty with pills can be completely reversable if you just stop taking pills everything is back to normal you good and healthy... I don't know enough about this and where the science sits on the subject but its my feeling that transitioning should be limited to adults and then with additional safeguards like making sure the patient doesn't have any serious ongoing mental health issues which I read was one reason for the de-trans people. Its going to disappoint some people but its difficult to draw the line for the law to be at least somewhat fair. There was an AMA sherdog thread where the OP's (trans female) preference was for transitioning earlier.

Agreed with the don't say gay bill, its a hot mess which I feel is going to like CRT book bannings when more local authorities are going to mis-interpret the new laws.

"problem cases" aside. I think you know as a 35 year old you've been in the wrong body for 35 years. I would definitely argue the point for younger people that it could be a rash decision and may feel different in a couple of weeks. I dyed my hair purple and it turned out a pink disaster, things like this need to be talked about rather than a whim fuck it let's see let's get my knob lobbed off.

No, you don't understand that because it's not true. Kids that are five years old don't even know that the TV show they watch isn't based in reality, they cannot distinguish between reality and imagination. Call me crazy but if you cannot distinguish between what is real and what is unreal, then you cannot know that you are "in the wrong sex body"
