Crime Donald Trump Hush Money Fraud Trial (5/30 Update: Trump Found Guilty on All 34 Felony Charges)

All I know of the economy is that my grocery bill is astronomical
Be less of your av? Apart from the very rich we are ALL having to make choices that we may not have done in the past. You maybe don't buy Ribeye whenever the fuck you want it. You don't have a God given right to Filet Mignon, y'know?

Do you think Donny putting the US another 8 Trillion in debt is going to help with that?

How entitled are you chuds..... the best recovery, the lowest inflation in the G7 post-covid, but that's not enough?
Give your bootstraps a tug, buttercup we're all in this together, it's not just you.

So, the Russians are admitting they own Trump? <mma4>
They do it all the time on state media, and get a great big laugh out of it. They call him "our agent" and Russify his name.

And absolutely NOTHING gets on state media there regarding politics, without Putin's approval.

The only crowd who think it's not a witch hunt is a bunch of orange man bad redditors who circle jerk online, but in the real world it's very obviously a witch hunt to everybody.

I don't think I've talked to a single non-American person who thinks any of this is legit. It's pretty much universally agreed upon that it's a terrible look for the USA and makes them look like a banana republic.

Russian state-controlled media apparatus closely followed legal troubles of the former U.S. President Donald J. Trump, spicing up most of their coverage with pro-Trump clips from Fox News and Tucker Carlson. Russian propagandists were openly hoping for a hung jury and were visibly disappointed when Trump became a convicted felon on all 34 charges he was facing.

On Friday morning, Dmitry Kulikov, host of Solovyov Live, the self-described “most patriotic channel” in Russia, said on-air, “They wronged our Donald Trump!
I guess we know which non-Americans @Barteh has been talking to :D

I don't see why that can't be extended, though. Candidate X can't be credited for defeating Y because it's about people choosing one over the other. You, or anyone, can't be discredited for not convincing others to vote correctly, because it's about people choosing various precepts probably far ahead of time instead of it being a strategy game where pushing certain buttons yields victory. By all means, if you want to feel sad or even culpable for Trump. Though I genuinely cannot see the merit in it, and feel obligated to recommend against it.
It's not a big thing, but if you look at the country as a unified group, we all have a (very small) bit of responsibility for collective decisions.

Like I said. It’s the trumpers who are coping by saying this is good for him.

It’s not.

It's weird that you immediately have to call people Trumpers when they disagree with you. I'm not a "Trumper", I'm not even American. To me American politics is a form of entertainment.

Post the betting slip if you're so convinced that this is bad for the orange man. He's the clear favourite.

Why would I troll about this? The steaks are too high.

Of that, I have no doubt. ;)

Totally not a cult. Just a lot of very well mannered individuals wio just want to help the country. Definitely not a cult though.

Reuters was making a compilation of threats they found online from Trump supporters having a temper-tantrum:

“1,000,000 men (armed) need to go to Washington and hang everyone. That's the only solution,” said one poster on Patriots.win. Another added: “Trump should already know he has an army willing to fight and die for him if he says the words...I’ll take up arms if he asks.”

Someone in NY with nothing to lose needs to take care of Merchan,” wrote one commentator on Patriots.Win. “Hopefully he gets met with illegals with a machete,” the post said in reference to illegal immigrants.

On Gateway Pundit, one poster suggested shooting liberals after the verdict. “Time to start capping some leftys,” said the post. “This cannot be fixed by voting."

etc, etc

It's funny how you all seem to think that convicting criminals is somehow damaging to the country but not electing criminals.

Everyone has known the guy is a crook since day one. How about trying to not vote for a crook to be President? Then the country doesn't have to suffer the hardship of convicting a former President.

{<jordan}

You think Joe Biden and Hillary Clinton are not crooks?

What did Hillary Clinton's payment for the Steele Dossier get categorized as in her accounting? That's right... she's worse than Trump. She actually committed the crime of Election Interference and bad accounting while in New York and .... where's the charges?

Good lord. And they wonder why normal people laugh at their dumbasses.

That's thing to, if it just came out he had an affair with a porn star no one would give a shit least of all his supporters. If anything the kind of sleeze ball he's always been, it's expected.

Instead without any sort of prompting they just immediately tried to cover it up using a pretty specific combination of fraudulent activity. Lies to bank, fraudulent documentation of repayment, etc

It really says a lot about Trump and the people around him how they decided to attempt this coverup. It's almost like they've done it before, they just weren't caught because he didn't have the same sort of scrutiny when he wasn't a political figure.
So it all stems fron hush money cover up ? No financial gain ?

No, I said there was nothing wrong with the tweet. Then you said it was pandering. Which is fine but it bothered you enough to post it and I doubt you routinely call out politicians for pandering. So I was wondering what was it about this specific tweet that made you want to call it out vs the millions of other instances of politicians pandering that happens everyday.

Clearly, you have no answer

This is cute. You've chosen to be butthurt about a simple tweet I posted related to the discussion at hand. Not one time did I provide anything remotely close to an indication that I was bothered by it. Yet you decided to take it upon yourself for some white knight reason to push the idea that I need to justify something to you and provide you with some evidence to show I'm equally "calling out" politicians who pander.

What answer would satisfy you Mr. White Knight? Do I need to go search twitter for some ridiculous MTG tweet and quote it here with the phrase "oh my" to make you feel better?

Here . . .

"Oh my"

Are you happy now?
