Economy Donald trump announce tariffs for steel and aluminium on Canada and Mexico , starting feb.9th

About 5 years late. Liberal idiots. Canada is fucked. We already have more people than homes and now a bunch of those people are going to lose their jobs. Too bad the Liberals focus over the past 9 years was way the fuck off in left field with Poilievre begging them to come back to the center or right. Carney will save the day though. A banker with zero political experience that hasn't got a god damn clue about real Canadians struggles while his company invests in pipelines anywhere but Canada. Liberals are sniping all of the conservative platforms lol. Eyes open liberals? Is it only a good idea when it comes out of a liberal mouth?

Yeah Canada!

safe Injection sites save tax payers more money than letting people rot in the street, It’s just numbers. they shouldn’t be around elementary schools.

And that last analogy is spoken like a man who’s never had a couple pints before racing go karts. If there was a place to get a little buzzed and safely drive drunk I’d be cutting cookies and blasting free bird right god damn now
Hahahaha. We need more police to try and fight all of the thest and disturbance crime by junkies, hospital ERs are constantly at capacity dealing with junkie OD's that are the most common emergency, ambulances are overburdened by junkie OD's and people are losing their possessions to theft steady because of junkies.

But we're saving $ keeping them junkies. Genius right here.

What's going on with these polls on the federal election. How is it possible the liberals closed the gap this much since Trudy left?

Is there something I'm missing or is this country legitimately that stupid?
Liberals like conservative platforms when they come out of the side of Liberal mouths.

Honestly though, boomers are out to lunch.

Why don't you just admit you're American trolling on sherdog as a Canadian

Lol. Now I'm being accused of the opposite of the usual. You guys need to choose one conspiracy theory and stick with that.

I've been very clear about why Canadians should be excited to join the United States of America and none of you guys have offered a single counter point other than personal attacks which frankly have no effect on me because I have zero respect for any of you.

This is a good segment about the US-Canada trade relationship and why it's hard to avoid dependence upon the US, as opposed to, say domestic sales or exports to other countries. "Canada's economy is 7000 miles long and a few hundred miles wide."

About the tariffs, the last time Trump was in office, they granted 207,000 exemptions.

It's only 9 minutes long and it's quite informative.

Every needle exchange and safe injection sights give out literature on getting clean and lists of resources to do so. It’s outreach while still being more economical

Meaningless. Like putting a warning on cigarette packaging. Or beer ads that say to 'enjoy responsibly.'

Go on then imaginary wife guy, what's missing from the picture?
What are you looking at? The PC's are up 17 points as of 2 days ago. Now, there was a poll saying that Mark Carney would erase that gap, but keep in mind that Mark Carney is the corporate Liberal choice for leadership, and they're gonna pump his tires to get him in there. I have serious doubts that anyone would erase such a large gap simply by existing. Certainly not a Trudeau lackey.

I think the Ontario election for Premiere will set the table a bit more clearly. If it ends up being close, or Ford even manages to lose, then yeah, I'd buckle up. It's not pointing in that direction though.

My issue with it is how half-assed it can be like in British Columbia. From what little I know of the situation, the Portuguese did decriminalization the right way, creating strong cessation programs and mental health support.

Here, all they've done is try to sequester the problem so it festers and grows. The BC government effectively decided, nah we aren't spending any money on that shit, and dumped the aftermath on the community :(

It's the gap erasing via Mark Carney that I have a hard time believing. I strongly doubt most of the electorate even knows who the guy is but we're supposed to believe he'd somehow just make the gap disappear over night?

I was surprised by the new tariffs as the countries were communicating and Canada agreed to the 10k troops with a fentanyl czar. If it's a permanent thing then I don't support it. Ultimately we are good partners. Goods are similar in cost I think on most things. China I get as even Canada has extra import tariffs on China to protect domestic products like steel. But overall, Trump already got movement on things he wanted and I wish he would just meet and discuss. @cottagecheesefan what's your take? Also, if you are a cottage cheese fan... that stuff is disgusting.
