Media Donald 'Cowboy' Cerrone back in testing pool, may make return to MMA at 185

Always been a big Cowboy fan but I agree with Jim Miller on this one. Don't love the whole "steroid vacation" thing. Father Time is undefeated and you've been washed for years. You probably had 4-5 fights too many as is. You got a hang then up and walk away for good at some point. They're gonna have to feed him a total can to get him a win and then he'd probably delude himself into thinking he could do a legit full comeback. Listen to Dana on this one Cowboy. Find something else to do. Professional fighting is a young man's game and you're not a young man anymore.

Dude is on that good stuff now.

I guess it depends on your definition of a young man. But if it was a young mans game by most standard definitions then it should be dominated by those in their 20s, yet MMA champs are almost always in their 30s. Think we've even seen more in their 40s than those in their early 20s.

Love Cowboy but just wish he was better. But his activity when he was active .... Hespeck
His activity was a double edge sword. If he picked his fights and managed his fights like others in the division there's a fair chance he sniffed a title

His a Las Vegas gambling man so he will always come back for the $ in some form even after the UFC gets rid of him.
He just wants some money to gamble away at this point.

I'm kind of a weird fan in that I don't really care about titles. I mean, I'm not getting PPV points so why do I care? Id rather see a fun competitive mid-card fight than a snoozer title fight.
