Media Donald 'Cowboy' Cerrone back in testing pool, may make return to MMA at 185

Not a fan of this whatsoever.

He ended his career on his last 7 fights he didn't have a win.
His last win was March of 2019.
He's 41.5 years old, with 2.5 years of ringrust.
He's never fought at middleweight, where he'll be massively undersized against most of that division.

Feels like he's doing this just to fill up his bank account.
Very disappointed he never got into coaching. Always thought he'd be damn good at it.

He got all the experience in the world, but he was never a smart guy and has add.
His thai boxing was good from the beginning, but never developed much, his wrestling got a lot better over the years though. Typical Jacksonwink.
Didn't watch tape his entire career. He trained a lot of guys.

Sure he can be a solid coach, just not a world class one or anywhere close.

I've always liked Cerrone and in the mid 2010's he was in the top 3 best fighters at 155 but his time to be at the top has sailed. He hasn't looked good since psyching out to Conor and he'll definitely be catching more L's at 185. He needs to stay retired.

Hespect earned with Donald's damn good career.
His Conor fight, IMHO, was ended as the result of a precisely placed liver shot. Reminded me (painfully) of the perfect shot Conor threw that took out a better fighter, one of the best champs ever, Jose Aldo.

Stay safe Cowboy, and please don't come back to fighting !

No coach starts off as a 'world class coach.'
They start off like any coach does, and as their fighters do better and better they attract more fighters to their training facilities.
When their fighters fight world-class fighters the common opinion will be the coach is world-class.

So, saying Cerronne 'can be' just a 'solid' coach, but never a 'world class' coach or anywhere close, is extremely inaccurate.

Theres always GFL where everyone is from 40 to 50.
