Social security, one of the most successful programs in government history is being dismantled.
We've seen no evidence of "improvement" and only evidence of sabotage. Closed offices, fired employees, new demands and barriers placed on recipients. There is no doubt in my mind that the end goal is to privatize these public systems and services.

The country has approximately 756 billionaires, and over 50 corporations that don't pay their fair share of taxes. And yet he's been placed in charge of finding cost savings within the government. There is no better example of conflict of interest. Anyone expecting to see cost savings passed on to the average citizen is in for a shock.

People falling for the deception, have placed so much trust and confidence in Doge, may want to ask themselves: Why does Doge refuses to look for grotesque amounts of waste, fraud, abuse, in the most obvious places? The millionaires and billionaires contributing practically nothing.

DOGE is part of the executive branch acting under the direction and authority of the POTUS. It is an executive office created by President Obama for the purpose of using technology to improve government efficiency. Making the detailed decisions regarding how government agencies operate is the specific role of the executive branch.

Probably the most fundamental concept of The US Constitution is defining the distinct separation of power between each branch of government, it would not be proper or productive to have all of them looking at these things.

They can post anything they want. A lot of what they have posted has been shown to be complete bullshit. They have NO oversight. Why in dafuq should anyone believe them? Is that what you are trying to sell here? Trust them??????

I admit I'm not doing a good job selling this, so I'll let President Obama do it for me.

I think the part that is going back to congress is waste. The funding is allocated by Congress and can't just be reappropriated. It also helps them to learn and pass stuff for clarity on the spending as many times it's vague according to them. Thirdly, I think it promotes team work to again make sure that future admins can learn from.

Yes, that makes some sense in theory and Elon is doing that to some extent, having meetings with Republican congress members basically keeping them updating on what is happening. But, you would have to be completely delusional to think there is anything positive that would come from attempting that same courtesy with Democrat congress members.
