Those documents were items retained by the administration that were returned once the national archives listed them as classified. It's a process every president goes through. Nothing unusual about it, unless you repeatedly lie about returning them and hide them in the bathroom or your condo.

So did you just not know any of this and decided to keep spreading a lie?

Trump was a special case because he always has been a political outsider and any means to prevent him from becoming President again was necessary... to the political elites.
But Biden and all of the other political elites? They're protected.

Nope again. All presidents retain materials from their administration. The National Archives conducts a review and makes a determination if any of those are classified. Then the former president returns those items. This is what Biden did.

What Trump did was lie about having any of the items. Then the National Archives sent another request. So trump had his lawyer sign a sworn affidavit that everything had been returned. This was a lie. And when the feds had enough for a warrant, they searched his gaudy resort and found not only did he have hundreds of documents hidden all over the place, he was lying to aids and directing people to lie.

So no, Trump wasn't persecuted for being an outsider. He lied and got caught. I'm not even sure why you and @HereticBD are even lying about this. Do you think we don't remember these events from last year and that your version would hold up? Or have you too drunk so much kool-aid you legitimately didn't know any of the above? Because stupidity or dishonesty is the only reasons you could have argued what you just did.

It’s all relative. If you had a top secret clearance and never saw anything important, you probably didn’t really need that clearance. They used to be a lot more free with the top secret clearances but have gotten more stringent with who gets them for that very reason. A lot of people they were giving them to were qualified for it but didn’t actually need them.

There’s also a truth that a lot of stuff gets classified as a cover your ass move that doesn’t really need to be classified. That of course does not excuse the spillage. I don’t know or particularly care what was spilled by doge. I would worry about it but I already know there will be know accountability for it anyway.

It depends upon your role. I had top secret clearance for awhile but it was really just an excuse for a deep background check before I began work to make sure I had nothing or anybody in my background that was shady before giving me free access to the entire premises. It didn't mean I was ever going to be privy to anything important.

But for someone like @Strychnine, who is/was in the military and directly involved in such matters, it's obviously different, and something which that tool to whom Strychnine was responding is clearly too dumb to understand without having his nose rubbed in his own shit first.

Pretty sure Musk has a Q clearance through the DOE, not sure if his team has all been cleared though, and also not sure if that clearance actually allows cross-departmental access, although given his current role it's likely been granted if necessary.
