Does dipping effect your muscle strength or cardio? I dont think it does. Anyone have some factual info?
Anecdotally, most powerlifters I know dip. So no. Having half your face and throat removed in 20 years might, though.

I agree. You could use these things as a reward for accomplishing a big goal every now and then. But the problem with this is that most people, including myself, do not have the self control to stop there. Once he starts smloking cigs/cigars he might realize how much he likes them...and it will become a habit. That's why I personally have never smoked. I have an addictive personality and would carried away with the amount.
But if the OP can control his intake...I see the no problem with it every now and then.
That's why I'll never have a cigarette. I never wanted to get hooked, so I just said, I may have a cigar, but no cigs. For awhile, I was havin' cigars once a week or so, then I realized that was gettin' too close to a line I didn't wanna cross. That's also why I'm careful about how much and how often I have alcohol. I know what ya mean about addictive personality.

Hey guys i have one Question... I work out and been working out for about 3 years now. I dont smoke, but last night i was at work and lot of my buddies were smoking, So they asked me to smoke one. So i did . I was wondering if the smoking got any effects on Muscles. I know smoking fuck up your stamina. But would it mess your body (Muscles,Defination,Overall Look)
You're muscles are going to shrink in size when I deadlift 650 and you have to stop smoking for six months.
smoking causes vasoconstriction and severe oxidative stress, therefore, yes it would affect your gains in the gym in terms of muscle recovery and o2, bloodflow, and nutrient delivery during your workout
