Does Rashad Evans beat Shogun at 128?

Link? Shogun got turtled vs Forrest. Anderson was a nightmare match-up for Shogun. Is he even over 500 in big fights?
Shogun asked to fight Anderson after he KOed Machida. Anderson was asked about the fight and claimed they were friends. Shogun responded saying they were just former training partners and reiterated he wanted the fight.

I'm at work and lots of sites are blocked but it shouldn't be hard to find. It was pretty well known by people following the sport at the time that Shogun asked to fight Anderson and Anderson made an excuse to try and avoid it.

You can find this info on Google as long as you aren't on a network that blocks certain web pages.

You got it backwards Shogun was a nightmare match-up for for Anderson. He could hang with him on the feet and his wrestling is better and he has great GNP and a great chin. Prime vs prime I would pick Shogun to beat Anderson like 8 out of 10 times.

Am I remembering it wrong or was there originally supposed to be a TUF Brazil season where it was Anderson and Shogun as coaches (like didn't Anderson drop out for some reason and that's when they brought Lil Nog in to replace him as the other coach?)?

That's possible I didn't follow TUF much after the first 3-4 seasons. I just remember Shogun being interviewed and asking to fight Anderson and Anderson claiming they were friends then Shogun saying that they weren't really close and he wanted to fight Anderson. I think at that point Anderson changed the excuse for not accepting it to saying it was Machida's division.

There are threads on here break down the whole thing, not sure if they still exist since it was so long ago but it seemed obvious Shogun liked the style match up and Anderson didn't.

Got me thinkin does Henderson beat Jones at 151?

Hendo did bomb on Fedor after all.

LINK???

I don't want to hear arm chair QB. 1st link to prove your premise is correct or didn't happen.

Clearly didn't happen.

Do you not know what blocked webpages mean? I think you're the retard here, I have told you that twice and you still don't seem to understand. All you have to do is google Anderson turns down Shogun fight and you will find that it did in fact happen, i'm sorry you weren't watching MMA at the time and don't know that but that's not my problem.

Anderson Silva Won't Fight Shogun Even If Shogun Beats Machida
"People know that Silva has frequently and repeatedly rejected the idea that he would ever fight his friend and training partner, Lyoto Machida. On the other hand, if people think that Silva would fight Shogun for the title, they fail to understand the depth of Anderson's loyalty to Machida."

"Should Machida lose to Shogun, he will want his title back. Due to this Silva will probably not fight Shogun. If he won, he would then be in Machida's way."

Shogun Rua says that he would accept a bout against Anderson Silva

"The former UFC Light Heavyweight champion said that fighting his former training partner isn't something he wants but he wouldn't turn down the UFC if they asked him to fight Anderson Silva."

Take it easy warrior. Idk if this is exactly what he was referring to but if you type in anderson silva vs shogun on google these both come up on the first page and might give a little context.

Shogun reiterated that he wanted to fight Anderson in a MMA magazine interview as well I think it was Fight Magazine and he was asked about what Anderson said about them being friends and he said that they weren't really that close and he looks at Anderson more of as a former training partner rather than friend. I'm not sure if they exists anymore though as I haven't heard of them in like 10 years.

Since you're so lazy I found a page that wasn't blocked, here's Shogun talking about fighting Anderson after he KOed Machida in 2010.
https://www.mixedmartialarts.com/news/shogun-wants-anderson-silva-fight

I think throwing shade on an internet forum is a juvenile waste of energy but if I'm being honest, it's probably less him being lazy and more him wanting to be right/wanting you to be wrong real bad. A 2-3 minute google search and quick skimming will show you a bunch of articles with quotes.

Shogun a favourite of mine ….Evans big favourite in fight imo

You sound mad little guy. Lose your helmet?

Actually has Rashad ever gone on record to talk about the cancelled Shogun fight? Someone else said it but it's a wonder that they didn't book that fight at some point afterward.

Rashad's takedowns were great but his top control wasn't most of the time, he had to get a lot of takedowns to get a decent amount of control time cause people would just get up.

He held down rampage pretty good and Phil davis
