Does it upset you that Jon Jones will never be humbled?

I’m not a Jones fan, at all, but I also don’t really dislike him either. I admire his greatness and genius, but I find him very unappealing as a person and personality.

But I’ve noticed, especially this weekend, how much his haters take his wins personally.

We’ve seen shitty people at the top like Conor get humiliated and it’s happened a bunch in boxing and team sports. But like Floyd Mayweather, Jones will likely never lose a match. Even if he’s slowing down now(we don’t know yet), he’s too smart to put himself in an unfavourable position.

For the haters, does it bother you that you’re never going to see him lose a fight or even get humbled? As a fan of the sport, is it something that will always bother you?
He'll be humbled outside of the cage. I mean he already kinda was when his fiancée left him temporarily, right? But it's just a matter of time till he fucks up again

no as long as the UFC are writing checks assuring his victories....because that Gagne fight was very suspect.

lol No. Been walking this earth long enough to know that life is unfair and good guys don’t always finish first. All the opposite, actually.

Jon is dumb outside the cage but very smart with everything related to combat sports, matchmaking included. He won’t fight no name guys into his 40’s, the guy just want Stipe and be done with it. I have accepted the fact that we will never see him catch a well deserved ass beating on live tv.

even if he brutaly lose he won't be humbled, he took a lot of loss in his life outside of fighting and he has proven to be absolutely delusional about it everytime, it will never be his fault

Never say never, the world has a twisted sense of humour

Jones personality disgusts me, but I find his fate hilarious. He's like a mega super villian. Not super intelligent, just twisted lucky and scheming to the core. When he was dancing in the ring after he beat Gane, it captured his persona perfectly haha. Dude must have done a lot of good in past lives. He keeps getting breaks this life. Eventually he will have to reap the negative also.
Dude you sound Mayhem Miller crazy. How exactly do you know the totality of what this man reaped or sewed? You know the bad that makes the headlines. Sherdog thinks whatever hits the news bad about people is their entire life and they must pay for it before sherdog’s eyes or you haven’t reaped. That is hilarious and pathetic

FUN FACT: JONES ALREADY LOST TO REYES BUT WAS GIFTED A PHONEY DECISION
Nah the decision was very real. On his record and everything. Wouldn’t “phoney” be pretending it isn’t or that Reyes somehow beat his ass or even that this guy who in no longer UFC material is the rightful champ just to take credit from Jones?

Why would it? Honestly it seems like life humbled him, he doesn't need a beating in the cage to be humbled...and I really hope that that last public issue regarding the night in a hotel with his wife and kids....was the last draw for him and he will now focus on whats important, being his family and his success before his career is fully over.

I know that guy has done some really shitty stuff that people including myself hate on him for, but as I age I look back at how I was in my late teens and twenties and I try and imagine how I would have been with fame and a shit ton of money....I would have been far fucking worse than Jones...I mean far fucking worse lol. So I just watch and enjoy how fucking good he is as a fighter and try to pay zero attention to his out of the cage issues.
This and some of the people going out of their way to trash him for whatever stupid he did will only find themselves feeling like trash and shamed when they inevitably fuck up themselves. Or maybe they spend a perfect life free of bad mistakes and realize damnI’m old and I am miserable beI didn’t do a damn thing

You seem angry. Take some deep breaths through the nose and exhale through the mouth. Your anger and emotional outbursts will subside if you make it a simple habit. Mayhem Miller suffers from mental illness and addictions. He and I have little in common this life. I'm not going to write paragraphs on Sherdog explaining every viewpoint I have in minute detail.

Who mentioned "the totality" of anything besides yourself. You imagined that with your own mind. Most everyone gives their opinion but in doing so they at least reply to the OP. Feel free to state your own opinion about the topic. TBH I don't even slightly care what you think of me or what I wrote. I'm replying this once because you yourself seem a bit unhinged, and maybe my advice will help you.

Jon Jones undoubtedly has some very strange karma. It's evident that he is now enjoying the fruits of some past good-deeds. At the same time he has and continues to blatantly perform some wicked and selfish actions from time to time. According to spiritual law, he must absolutely eat those fruits as well at whatever time they ripen.

Now that I have responded to you in what I feel is a rational manner, you may think as you choose. No one asked you to agree or align to any unique perspective. I don't hate JJ, nor have I ever attacked him. He chose to be on a public stage and carry himself the way he does, performing certain actions that he has. Those are things he has to deal with. If you disagree then continue to do by all means. If it offends or angers you to a point you feel the need to object, then that says a lot more about your own state of mind than it does about anyone else.

Is it cheating or is it not?
Technically, sure, but... True, true competitors - people who are competitors more fundamentally than they're a parent, or a child, or an addict, or a churchgoer, whatever, basically psychopaths - understand one another & can respect seeking every advantage.

Cormier's attitude to Jones' positive tests is a perfect example of this. The further away he gets from that defeat, the less he brings it up, because he was only ever bringing it up as a vehicle for his disappointment with himself & his rage.

Deep down it doesn't matter how you lost, just that you lost & vice versa for winning - how doesn't matter.

He's eaten every strike great at LHW no doubt. But I do question how he will take a shot at HW vs a bigger puncher like Sergei.

I think they all give him very tough fights. I am all for legacies being built and like to see great fighters accomplish big things. But I don't see Jones getting through 3 of these guys.
I could see him getting through 3 or 4, if he remained properly focussed & motivated but yeah, I want to see that chin properly tested :D I could almost equally see him getting starched/submitted by an opponent he takes lightly, or ending up in jail

Who fkn knows? What I do know is the UFC HW division is all the better for Jones' participation... & the prospect of him getting humbled
