Does it upset you that Jon Jones will never be humbled?

I’m not a Jones fan, at all, but I also don’t really dislike him either. I admire his greatness and genius, but I find him very unappealing as a person and personality.

But I’ve noticed, especially this weekend, how much his haters take his wins personally.

We’ve seen shitty people at the top like Conor get humiliated and it’s happened a bunch in boxing and team sports. But like Floyd Mayweather, Jones will likely never lose a match. Even if he’s slowing down now(we don’t know yet), he’s too smart to put himself in an unfavourable position.

For the haters, does it bother you that you’re never going to see him lose a fight or even get humbled? As a fan of the sport, is it something that will always bother you?

Never say never. Father Time is undefeated, and if Jon chooses to fight past his prime he could lose. not sure when that will be, but it could happen. so many of the greats hold on too long.

in terms of his attitude, yeah he needs to humble up. he has been incredibly fortunate to still be in the position he is. no one gets infinite chances.

No, why would it upset you.

Every dog has his day… that fight went by so quick it’s hard to gauge Jon’s greatness at heavyweight by those minutes that went by…

This is how long Jon’s tenure at heavyweight has been…

No, on the contrary i find it hilarious..

I'm not even a jones fan, i don't find his fighting style particularly entertaining but i've been called a jones fan because i can see the difference between being an asshole and being good at your job..

As long as the people who can't make that distinction is unhappy i'm happy..

He's probably out of his prime right now. Gane is just so shit on the ground we couldn't see it. He looked awkward asf on the feet

Nope. I'm beginning to appreciate his schtick, in fact:

1. Drive drunk, get high, beat gf, crash car, shoot gun in public, whatever
2. When caught, compare self to Jesus Christ and highlight your personal sufferings/humiliations
3. Explain that all your sociopathic behaviour is ultimately to bring more souls to Christ

I mean, that's a good schtick. The unrepentantly sinning saviour. It's good shit!

I can dig it!

But he hit Gane 2 or 3 times in the head and Gane hit him 0 times in the head. He did look awkward doing it, but not so awkward that he didn't have Gane confused and on the back foot.

Gane looked even MORE awkward on the feet, if we're being honest. And I like Gane and don't like Jones, except as a villain character and a cage fighter.

I find him to be quite amusing these days. He's legit the real life Homelander from The Boys. He's relishing the fact that he's the villain and that there's nothing anyone can do about it and that people actually like him now.

No, I like it. I appreciate greatness and don't want to see them get beat. Same reason I was always rooting for the likes of Khabib and GSP.

On the Day of Judgement he might very well be. Then he'll be tapping like chicken for eternity.

He’s been humbled in a jail cell several times

I’ll sleep at night

dumbass thread after barely seeing him fight at HW. depending how many fights he's going to have, it's very likely he's gonna "get humbled" very soon. he's beatable
Lol very likely?

There’s a much better chance that he beats Stipe and then retires than there is of him being humbled.

I would say he was humbled after first Gus fight.
Brutalized and limping and going to hospital.
