Does it upset you that Jon Jones will never be humbled?

Father Time is undefeated, and if Jon chooses to fight past his prime he could lose.
Jones already fought passed his prime a couple of days ago when destroyed Gane.

But I know what you mean, eventually he will probably lose if he keeps fighting past his prime.

I think its sad to get upset over someone you've never met.

Is Jones a giant POS? Yes, undoubtedly. But there's plenty of them in the world, no point getting upset about it.

If its any solace to his haters, his life will probably come crashing down at some point post-career. Guy can't help himself, he's a train wreck of a human.

True, this is actually a good way to go about it.

Nope. I'm beginning to appreciate his schtick, in fact:

1. Drive drunk, get high, beat gf, crash car, shoot gun in public, whatever
2. When caught, compare self to Jesus Christ and highlight your personal sufferings/humiliations
3. Explain that all your sociopathic behaviour is ultimately to bring more souls to Christ

I mean, that's a good schtick. The unrepentantly sinning saviour. It's good shit!

I can dig it!
He quadruples and quintuples down on this shit lol

I’m not a Jones fan, at all, but I also don’t really dislike him either. I admire his greatness and genius, but I find him very unappealing as a person and personality.

But I’ve noticed, especially this weekend, how much his haters take his wins personally.

We’ve seen shitty people at the top like Conor get humiliated and it’s happened a bunch in boxing and team sports. But like Floyd Mayweather, Jones will likely never lose a match. Even if he’s slowing down now(we don’t know yet), he’s too smart to put himself in an unfavourable position.

For the haters, does it bother you that you’re never going to see him lose a fight or even get humbled? As a fan of the sport, is it something that will always bother you?
Christians believe that being separated from God is the worst fate. God brings those he loves to him with smaller, corrective, punishments, so they can learn from them, and grow closer to him. God has spurned Jon so much, he won't even let him closer by punishing him. Sad.

Jesus and Jon walk hand in hand. With every broken speed limit under the influence, with every backhand on his gf, with every coke-fueled night out, Jon leads souls to Christ while sherdoggers bitch online.

Not to single you out but how many souls have you led to Christ?

I myself know 3 ppl who have been saved by Jon Jones' DUIs and assaults. Jesus can do whatever the fk he wants. And he wants Jon Jones leading his children back home. The guy is the saviour of MMA! Finally, we all can see he never cheated!

And as long as we end up with more Jonny Blaze hell-trying-to-reach-heaven dancing in the octagon, I'm pleased and I have to believe Jesus is most pleased.

Strangely, the devil seems to have kept Jon safe from Jesus' wild influence at his afterparty. That was unexpected. I guess sometimes the devil wins. But not for long. Jon will fuck up soon and he'll be telling us again it's all for the glory of his lord and saviour Jesus Christ.

Can't wait!

Why would it? Honestly it seems like life humbled him, he doesn't need a beating in the cage to be humbled...and I really hope that that last public issue regarding the night in a hotel with his wife and kids....was the last draw for him and he will now focus on whats important, being his family and his success before his career is fully over.

I know that guy has done some really shitty stuff that people including myself hate on him for, but as I age I look back at how I was in my late teens and twenties and I try and imagine how I would have been with fame and a shit ton of money....I would have been far fucking worse than Jones...I mean far fucking worse lol. So I just watch and enjoy how fucking good he is as a fighter and try to pay zero attention to his out of the cage issues.

nah people hate Conor AND Jones on here as people. including myself. your fanboy colors are showing. Jones is not a good guy.
Are you a fan of "alpha males"? Maybe got a tat of Andrew tate and that kind of stuff?

Bro, that's practically all I do anymore. Don't be so jealous and shit like that. The Bible says that's like, haram, or something.
Ok bro - you get it. So many on Sherdog don't get it but, brother, you do!

My favourite book in the Bible is The Book of Haram - so much wisdom!

Never say never. Father Time is undefeated, and if Jon chooses to fight past his prime he could lose. not sure when that will be, but it could happen. so many of the greats hold on too long.

in terms of his attitude, yeah he needs to humble up. he has been incredibly fortunate to still be in the position he is. no one gets infinite chances.
John is a humble dude

you think he's past his prime now? at LHW he definitely is but at HW he only beat one fighter and tbh i think he kind of caught Gane off guard. we dont know a whole lot about Jones at HW so far. further fights are needed imo to assess if he's truly out of his prime

Jones lost to Gus in his prime, during his steroid peak.

He won't be humbled again if he continues to cherry pick French kickboxers with no ground game and 42 year old CTE Stipes.

Nah. Thankfully I have a pretty good life outside of my mma fanhood and things like this don’t affect me. Lol.

I’m entertained by the idea that others care this much though.

Its all BS at the end of the day...

If he doesn't get humbled at HW it's because he doesn't stay there long enough. Everyone gets humbled at HW, at some point.

So do you really think a 35 year Jones that has been fighting for the last 15 years is still in his prime?

It don't matter what weight class it is.
