Relationships Does anyone regret having kids?

Do you travel a lot right now? I dont have kids, just 2 dogs which hold me back from some traveling. After my dogs pass I plan on doing major traveling
they have this center you can take them and drop them of and they will find someone to take care of them when you leave. When you go back to the center you just pick up another dog of someone else doing the same thing.

I workd with a guy who had a vasectomy that didnt work and ended up still with a kid, which he clearly did not want to have. He would hide it whenever he talked to the women in the office and say typical dad stuff. But whenever it was just him and the guys he would go off... "fuckin kid.... man I had a vasectomy wtf" etc etc... I feel bad for the kid. Its a tough situation though. He DID have a vasectomy. But I dont think he did the post op stuff right.

Yeah sounds like he didn’t do the 2 mandatory post samples afterwards. Plus it takes about 25 ejaculates to clear out any left over tadpoles.

lol @ “dumped a clip in my missus”

And they say romance is dead.

Reminds me of that joke,

“Getting a vasectomy didn’t stop my wife from getting pregnant, it just changed the color of the kid”

Maybe it’s not his kid he’s just supporting the child.

One day I’ll have a kid, but as for now, I want a Ferrari.

I feel a little bit bad for my kids just given society and the shit they have to deal with as far as being kids, bullying, social media, etc. I try to give them a good life but it's tough when they struggle through things. But I don't regret having them at all. Best thing in my life.

Everyone regrets having kids, just no one is brave enough to admit it.

I regretted it at first but the thing is, you won't miss out on anything important anyways. Being on parties and getting your dick sucked is fun but only for so many times exciting. Fucking random girls every week aswell.
As you'll grow older, your interests and values will change and you'll have to reinvent yourself over and over or die as a sad joke of a men.
A kid is a good opportunity to change together and with some purpose beyond yourself.
And that being said, I still have time to do the things I wanne do. I don't live with the mother of my son and never let her take my time but I take care of him every second week.
Most time is taken by work, not my kid.
But if you haven't done all the young-men things you ever wanted to do, well, then it sucks.

Been married over 10yrs, and besides a morning after pill and an abortion, I've mastered the art of pulling out.

We want to have kids, but maybe in a few years

I have no kids..

All my friends/collegues have kids..

All they do is whine about fighting with their partners, getting sleep deprived, not getting laid and having no time for themselves/anything..

But.. they love their kids right..

My kid is great. I wouldn't have one in my 20's though. We would not have been prepared for it.

yes but not quite how you said it

gf/ ex wife was a crazy bitch who tried to stab him 3 times and succeded twice, also she had been on parole 2 times

he had been in prison and used to beat the gf when drunk

they were married for a half a year before getting divorced

now he smokes weed everyday and hasnt seen the kid in years.

Before you start to consider hiring a hitman (or pitbull) - why don't you just take them to a country club for dogs or pet sitter kind of situation? You should be able to get a week or two for some trips.

Why bother asking, you're not going to get honest answers if someone really does regret having a baby?
If someone loves their child and is a good parent, is it possible to regret having their child and wish they followed their own dreams without being a piece of shit?

LOL, this is exactly what I always tell my family when they constantly press me on when I'm making kids. I say I'll be happy to have children but its number 2 on the list, number 1 is owning a Ferrari first.

So needless to say..........I wont be having children until I'm like 72 years old

I do, but only for their sake. Just wish they had a better father than I myself can be. I’m clearly not the best father, and we look around and see these really good dads that are way better equipped, and far better at their duties than myself.

love having them, just wish I had more of a strong parental drive inside. It’s unfair to them.

Don't have any and I'm happy about that. I'm too fucked up and chronically unstable to raise kids. So were some of my friends but they had em anyway.

Do any of you guys have kids and wish you had not?
I dumped a clip in the Mrs. and now shes pregnant, it'll be both of ours 1st kid. We're in our early 30's, she's excited I am too but I'm the type of person who enjoys my free time to do my own thing after work and on the weekends, I've pretty much accepted that a lot of that free time will be gone once the baby is born, and money will also be tight once she takes time off work and we're paying the bills with just my income. I know most people say having kids was the best thing they ever did even though it was very hard but is there anyone out there who regrets having kids and if so why? I know maybe that's something most people won't admit so I figured maybe I'd get some honest responses on this anonymous karate forum. Thanks.

My kids only 6 months old but no. Not by a long shot. I miss my free time and money is tight but I cant imagine him not being here. He learns new shit weekly and it's awesome. We'll probably go the other way and start trying for #2 here soon. I'm in the same age range as you too. 29.

think you would make a good father

How do you have energy? I work for a day, go and lift after work, and I'm exhausted. Can't imagine getting up two hours earlier to deal with kids and spending the evening taking care of them as well.

People adapt

My co worker works 2 jobs, has two kids and sleeps 4 hours a night and still goes to gym 3 times a week

Never even complains (except about the wife but not about kids)
