I been noticing that theres been a weird trend of fights that normally dont main event or be on a main cards that are on the main cards or main eventing fight cards. Its almost like the guys that bought the UFC arent in touch or maybe dont care what UFC fans want. This plus Danas favoritism towards Conor McGregor has made me lose lots of love for the sport. I blame this on why the UFC has been declining heavily. I find myself watching sports i never been that interested in the past. Like Basketball and football. Has anyone notice this or feel the same ?

Thats how you read it ? I said that every card being weak and Conor favoritism is why the sport is on decline. The new owners dont know what the fuck they are doing.

For sure a decline in card interest but it works in a cycle of you look at fight nights from two years ago, you'd think they'd be stacked cards today

Plus expectations have went way up with hardcore fans

How many wins before the public is on board with Cyborg?

The leap from hardcore watching MMA to casual watching NBA & NFL seems strange to me TS.

Maybe it's all anti-trust smoke and mirrors.

There are smarter folks than you on the case, that much I'm sure of

Its happening a lot more. I dont pay as much attention to MMA as I did 5 years ago, but I'm seeing a lot of these no name fights on main cards. I'm assuming theyre guys that they expect to put on exciting fights? Its kinda puzzling.

I used to watch every fight on the main card and watched prelims the majority of the time, EVERY CARD. Now I almost always skip prelims unless there's a fighter I care about or I know is a gonna throw down.

The WMMA really turns me off unless it's someone kind of hot or Rousey getting murdered.

Watered down cards?!, that's the first I'm hearing of this.

Seriously though what can they do when they aren't hiring or building prospects. The legends pool is getting shallow, shall they just keep throwing names in the ring, reem vs werdum 4 anyone?
