I've seen him busted up over the course of a fight but never badly hurt. The only guy that might be able to beat Jones at heavyweight is Aspinall. He's big & athletic, has a lightning 1-2, and has never gone to decision. Aspinall is one of the most talented and dangerous heavyweights I've ever seen. However, Jones doesn't seem too keen on fighting him. Recently he even mentioned vacating the heavyweight title if he had to.

yeah, Jones has never been hit by a proper heavyweight before, Aspinall may well change that i think its an extremely interesting fight, you have the younger bigger ahtletic Aspinall who hasnt shown much weakness in his game, against the wily old veteran who hasnt really ever been beaten. Jones can fight though and formulate gameplans, but Aspinall is also a very technical clever fighter, its a fight that MMA needs, kind of the Fury-Usyk of MMA to find out who is the best

A good majority of people are watching him fight for whatever reasons. Casual fans, hardcore fans or just fans of his. But he's definitely got people's attention.
Trust me I wish Jake Paul just disappears. I'm just saying what I think is reality that's all. No hard feelings.

No one of that group of YT stars have elevated and financially benefited more than Jake Paul. Those guys are irrelevant to what Jake Paul has done to this circus show he displays.

It's the most interesting fight in the UFC heavyweight division for the reasons you pointed out. Jones is asking for a ridiculous amount of money though. Last I heard it was $30 million. The only way I see him getting it is if the Saudis bankroll it and that could very well happen.

I'm hoping that 2025 will be an even bigger year in boxing. Beterbiev vs Bivol II/Dubois vs Parker will kick the new year off. That will be a good start.

The fights are terrible but I will say, Jake is showing that innate ability seems to trump years of training, I didnt think he'd get past Woodley tbh. Fabio Wardley is proving a similar point, coming from white collar to batter Olympians.

I just don't like the 1st page being flooded with fights that are not going to happen. Does every Twitter rumor for fights we dam well know are not going to happen need a main page thread???
Case in point.... The Boots Teo "fight" everyone who thinks for a second knows the fights not going to happen....gets people exciting and trending both guys' names & what do you know looks like rumor is squashed already...lol
These planted marketing rumors for guys who are inactive and don't want to fight their contemporaries are really starting to irk me as a fan & realize how bad boxing sucks & shoots itself in the foot every opportunity it gets to self sabotage.
Honestly people would be over the whole social media youtube boxing BS if real big fights got made on the regular.
I have no problem with him posting or breaking legit news. He contributes as a poster too.
I hope he's not intentionally trying to drown out other threads just to get his at the top. There have been a few times in the past when I have seen a random or another poster break a confirmed fight or rumor thread prior to him posting & he still goes aheads & posts and bumps his own.
Kind of should assume positive intent & give him benefit of the doubt there...but still kind of a things that make you go hmmmmm moment.
But overall he contributes and does provide some inside knowledge & valid points.
He should be allowed to post what he wants.
I just wish there was real news to drown out and bump done some of the rumored threads consistently.
I can't fault him that there aren't any good or interesting threads that can consume the first page.
Or that we lost a ton of good posters.

its close to spam, i have now blocked him and the forum looks much better, the actual discussions are all there now, some of them get pushed off the first page within 24 hours and most people wouldnt even know things were being talked about

i'm not saying there isnt a place for a schedule for upcoming fights, i think it maybe should be a sub forum, hell, make him the mod of it as well, its great for people who dont follow other sites and look schedules all the time and you may end up watching a fight that went under your radar, just not really discussions are they
