Does anyone enjoy this forum anymore?

Was the $700 million offer actually verified? I've kept track of how much these fighters have been paid by the Saudis and they've never paid a fighter even one-third of that figure. That's why I'm so skeptical. It'd be the largest offer in boxing history. Not even Floyd has made that much in a single fight and that's including his PPV cut against Pac. But, the Saudis could pay that amount. It's not like they can't afford it.
I think they had the interviews with the guy today, but I don't know how serious he is. He did say the condition was to kayo jake in one round. The popular theory is that the fight was fixed, almost all boxing people believe it was but that could be just because they dont' want to believe what they saw. I'm of mixed emotions, I never thought Holyfield or Fury should have had any issues with guys who really don't know what they're doing so, we're in an age of bizarre boxing shit. Used to be you could count on Dempsey to knock the shit out of a wrestler coming into his game, even in his forties. Not the case now.

Who are you referring to with Holyfield his fight against Vitor Belfort? I don't really count that against him. He was almost 60 years old. I do count the Moorer loss against him even though he later avenged it.

Yup,belfort.

Yup,belfort.
It was clear to me immediately that Holyfield was completely shot. His legs were gone. No balance at all, his reactions weren't there, and his punch resistance wasn't there. I see it no differently than Roy losing to Pettis. Both were only shells of their former selves.

Whining? Brainbleed? lol, is it possible to be any more emotional over the truth? You're emotional for a reason.

The point is if you want a more active and enjoyable forum we need the popular guys to fight more often and fight each other. Thats what we got in 2023, but guess what ... 2024 hasn't been even close to 2023. I really hope that changes in 2025 and the first Saudi card looks like a good start.

The majority of the highest profile fighters have not been active this year. Popular fighters generate more discussion than say a hardcore hero than David Benavidez.

Now you might need to grab your favorite blanket because this is going to hurt .... Jake Paul has fought 3 times this year. I'm no fan of his freak shows, but when you talk boxing, his name is going to come up because activity is a major part of it. Yes, there are other factors but fighting 3 times is a huge part of him keeping his name in the game. Yes, I know Garcia is a goon and got suspended. Haney doesn't even have a scheduled fight except for lawsuit. SMH.

If the most popular fighters fought more than once a year, the discussion goes up and the forum is more active. You want a more enjoyable forum with more topics than rumored fights? The most popular guys need to fight more than once a year and guys like Canelo need to replace Berlanga with a better opponent.

The hardcore fan is what's carrying this forum. MMALopez, Kovalev, Treelo, Hagler, Moz, OldCat etc. If you're part of the .etc I apologize for not mentioning you and know I still love you. FWIW I have a pretty good idea why old friend Seano hasn't been posting here as much.

I'd guess the traffic in this forum was higher before and after the Garcia-Haney fight. The momentum for those two has waned? Why? Definitely not because of their inactivity. Nope. If they were active they're be an uptick in discussion/threads no doubt.

Look, I love the sport and I've traveled to watch cards live a lot lately. Even went to one of those Saudi promoted cards you mentioned. A lot of times I've gotten out of bed early in the morning or stayed up late just to watch. I watched a ton of boxing Saturday (DAZN and ESPN card).

I dont know what to say. Carry on.
