Does Aljo have the "worst" best title reign ever?

Absolutely insane that people still accuse of Sterling of acting till this day

MMA fans live in some delusional fantasy land

Sterling was hurt. Petr hit him in the temple with an illegal knee

And now he is being unfairly treated like a criminal

Are you blind? Or are you just too busy sucking Sterling off to fully appreciate this masterful acting performance?

Funny seeing people who’s never taken a knee to the face claim that sterling was faking and should’ve continued fighting as if he didn’t take an illegal knee…..the people who complain about that are just salty because they wanted to see him lose

It was 100% acting, how can you not see that?

He did eat a hard knee and maybe he was too rocked/dizzy to continue, but he still put on an awful acting performance instead of just saying it and taking the DQ.

Completely Yan's fault and nothing wrong with the DQ, but he still made a complete fool of himself.

Yan is an overhyped midget Hector Lombard 2.0?
That's the dumbest thing I've read on sherdog. Ever. The dumbest ever.
Short stocky compact fighter with short powerful movements that looks like a world beater when he's winning but does not adjust well when he gets behind, gets flustered, and losses without much urgency.

Yan hit him in the face with dozen of punches before the illegal knee

Trust your instincts. There's a reason people talk about guys like Khabib, GSP, Jones in the manner they do.

Aljo isn't remotely on their level yet.

Khabib ain't in that convo either. In face Aljo has as many defense as khabib, so aljo is in on the same level as beeb.

The names are extremely impressive but the reality is very different

- Wins the title with an acting performance that puts Marlon Brando to shame against Yan (which he was losing)
- Defends against Yan via split decision (he probably won but no one likes a split decision)
- Defends against one arm Dillashaw (just lol)
- Defends against 36 year old washed Cejudo via split decision (a crackhead judge gave him the 5h round which he clearly lost, otherwise Cejudo is the #AndNew)

It's pretty crazy
Five years from now, when people forget the details, it will probably look better.

Right now, his bad acting and TJ's one arm fighting technique is some of the more memorable parts of his reign.

-The DQ was a DQ regardless of how much you dislike him or his 'acting'. DQs must be treated as legit wins, or else this sport is fucked, and that was as legit a DQ as you can get.
-You practically admit you're being a bitch by getting your panties in a bunch about a split decision. Was it a robbery? No, of course it wasn't. He won and there was a bad judge. You can like it or not all you want.
-Only Dilly can be blamed for Dilly. Belal took all five rounds against one armed Burns, but Sterling immediately punished and finished one arm TJ
-You think Cejudo is washed why? You don't think he'd still beat most other BW's? And again you throw your hat behind bad judging and bitching about splits? Crying about the fifth going to Sterling for one judge but not the judges skipping Sterling's early rounds?

Pathetic breakdown

Did you have tears in your eyes while writing this?

No one is saying that it’s Aljo’s “fault”, it’s just that his reign has been oddly great on paper but terrible in reality
Terrible is too strong. I enjoyed the cejudo fight. He was smart the way he beat Yan in the 2nd fight. He did fine. It's just asterisks he's dealing with, not full blown failures...and some of those really depends on how you already feel about him.

It's better than Usman's reign surely? He's faced a murderers row as champ and keeps winning. I was rooting for Henry but Aljo seriously impressed me this fight.

Usmon stopped Colby & Jorge. Nobody did it to Colby (pause) and none of his UFC opponents KO’d Jorge.

Just because he's had the same number of defenses doesn't mean his career as a whole is on the same level

it's underwhelming for sure. personally i have yet to be sold on the guy. i mean cejudo is coming off a 'retirement' and is known for being a flyweight, and then it goes to split decision. and like you said a lot of the stuff that came before was suspect as well.

He won all 4 title fights, imo. Plain and simple. I think the real embarrassment is Yan fans/Aljo haters pretending he’s STILL not the legit champion.

He won all 4 fights. He hasn’t got to pick or choose like Cejudo did. He HAD to rematch Yan because he was the IC. Dillishaw is still the POS he was when he fought Cejudo. The UFC forced that fight. Aljo beat him fair and square. The UFC forced the Cejudo fight too. And Aljo won that fair and square. There shouldn’t have been any SD. He clearly won the rematch with Yan, and the fight with Cejudo.

Dear god, man! Are you insane? Trying to use LOGIC on sherdoggers will not get you far here my friend.

Sounds more like a statement on today's BW than it does on Aljo specifically

People like you are mind numbingly stupid. Cejudo was not washed. He's one of the best in the world and Aljo beat him fair and square. Same with Yan. What happened with TJ is his fault and no one else's.
