Does Aljo have the "worst" best title reign ever?

It was far and away the hardest shot of the fight and completely Irrefutably illegal. Seriously can't think of many worse ways to get kneed in the than while kneeling and not expecting it all, I don't consider Yan a weak pussy-cat either.

He shouldn't have even been asked to continue.
Reminds me of when Jon kneed Smith and should have been DQd on the spot. Do you agree?

Eh. I don't care. Theyre too little and hes not entertaining.

I don't recall it being as big but yes, illegal strike which irrecoverable changes a fight should have a presumption of a DQ. Some allowances if not deliberate in Yans case I don't think it could have been any clearer.

It was as big (if not bigger) and it was a title fight as well. Referee Herb Dean immediately ruled the knee was not just illegal, but intentional. Of course Jon got away with it, only having 2 points deducted and winning a UD against Smith's corpse.

All he had to do was say he couldn't see.
Him flopping around on the floor like an Atlantic Cod fish was completely unnecessary sir.

I’m clearly not awake yet cuz I read that as Aldo and we were about to internet fight. I also think I may have already been involved in this thread. It’s going to be a long day clearly.

At least Jon did not knee Smith after the ref specifically warned him about it. Yan’s was more blatant.

Aljo is winning so fuck everybody.
I would turn full heel mode if I was him. Money mayweather style. Dumb fuckers keep on buying those ppv hoping to see him knocked dead but he just keeps on winning lmao

The names are extremely impressive but the reality is very different

- Wins the title with an acting performance that puts Marlon Brando to shame against Yan (which he was losing)
- Defends against Yan via split decision (he probably won but no one likes a split decision)
- Defends against one arm Dillashaw (just lol)
- Defends against 36 year old washed Cejudo via split decision (a crackhead judge gave him the 5h round which he clearly lost, otherwise Cejudo is the #AndNew)

It's pretty crazy
Just get over it, man, Aljo is legit and he's proven it already.

I find Aljo interesting for a fighter whose style I dislike, watching him win and tweak Sherdog into marginalizing his success is entertainment in itself.
