No, I did not make that claim. But I did claim we came out of the pandemic in better shape than pretty nearly every other country except the United States. Because we did.

As to your first sentence and the last paragraph, most of the time, such as in this exchange, you rage post your opinion about how we're all fucked, and spew ad hominem. The fact is that Trump's trade war has done Canada an immense amount of good, whether he ever intended that or not. The exchange rate vs USD has improved. Driving a wedge into our trade relationship has caused us to strengthen ties with other nations and exposed the need for less dependence upon US trade--and no, before you ask, I don't give "the Liberals" credit for that--except for the stability Carney's presence has engendered in them--any more than I give credit to the Conservatives for running little PP.

So yeah, you can go cry to your mommy about the mean guy making you look stupid on a karate forum but you can try being less ridiculous if you don't want people to treat you like you're ridiculous.
