International Do you think Canada will be downgraded to a second world country?

Your forgot that Canada still has the dead Queen of England on their money...

It's part of their humiliation fetish.
U.S does use Templars slogan " In God we trust " and Freemasonry !!! medieval symbolic..
U.S does use also medieval era occultism symbol Pentagram in their flag, are they occultists?
Since Pentagram is filled with colour, it is communism Idea symbolic, are U.S citizens Lenin's fans?
Pentagram filled with colour is symbol of Revolution and Leninism....

Now soon will be time to start use also hammer and sickle : real true unique communism symbol.

This thread needs some peace, love and harmony!

Canada recently hosted the G7 which had me wondering why are they even hosting it as it is since they aren't a top 7 economy and this year look to drop out of the top 10. I would doubt they are top 7 advanced - they missed on the 2010s tech boom, healthcare is so bad they are offering people assisted suicide instead, 5% of the population relies on food banks, their dollar has little value, their government is trying to ban cars, criminals and murderers are given slap on the wrists, 50% of canadians are public sector workers.

All signs point to their good times being over. Especially given that the population loves the new liberal and will likely give them another 10 years.

So do you think Canada will be the first country to be downgraded to second world? I think it is fair to put them in a similar category to mexico and poland.

*** I know 1st, 3rd world had traditionally to due with post ww2 alignments and classifications but the term is used differently in 2025.
What a stupid post, fucking hell.

"healthcare is so bad they are offering people assisted suicide instead"

96% of people in who died via MAID had terminal conditions. UK, Austria, Australia, Belgium, Switzerland, Luxembourg and Spain have similar legislation. Are we downgrading them to "2nd world" status as well?

"5% of the population relies on food banks"

Ok, you want to use that metric? Are you sure? Because 6.8% of Americans rely on foodbanks. In fact, you can even find other sources showing much higher numbers.

"their dollar has little value"

Has roughly the same "value" against the greenback as 10 years ago. Are we going to use the value of 1 unit of currency as some sort of metric on living standards? If so, I guess the US is well behind the UK, all of Europe, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman and Jordan.

"their government is trying to ban cars"

No, they're not. Trudeau put in place an EV mandate saying no more gas powered cars can be sold after 2035. Which is a fuckload different than what you're claiming. And it is looking like Carney will scrap or at least alter that mandate.

"50% of canadians are public sector workers."

No, they're not. Not even close, it's just above 20%. Though, the public sector is growing and that does need to change.

"I think it is fair to put them in a similar category to mexico and poland."

Oh, that's makes sense. Canada, 20th in the world in GDP per capita (USA is not even in the top 5, btw). Poland is 44th, with 50% less than Canada and Mexico is 74th, about 80% less. LOL

Go get your head checked, you might have RFK's brain worm.

I rate 3rd world because of shitiness of there beer alone.

I'm going to have to take issue with this, as well!

You mean the big mass produced stuff like Molson and Labatt? Sure, but Budweiser and Coors are no better. We have some amazing micro brews here making delicious IPA's, among other types. If you're an IPA guy (and you should be) give this one a go if you're ever in Ontario.

All I know as an American if I would rather drink my own country's beer than another country's - that other country's beer is total aas!

Everyone has good Micro beers here an there ai am talking the mass produced stuff at store.

Well in that case, your shit is no better than our shit. How do I know? Because they sell all that junk up here, too. Mass produced beer (outside of some Euro countries like Germany and the Netherlands) is trash. Full stop.

Edit: And to clarify, the micro brews I reference aren't all that "micro", they're sold in most stores including 7-11 and the like.

I love a good ice cold High Life when doing activities and cookouts ( like a canoe its pretty damn near water but I like it in situations) cant even say that about a single Canadian beer.

"Micros" big and small are sold regionally in our stores too. I disagree about the Euros they are much better imo on average same with Mexico not counting Corona.

Meh, to each their own. I think High Life is below average, at best. I like a strong beer.

There no comparison...

Americans chose to have that vast array of symbols.

How many Canadians want/wanted the Queen of England on their money?

It's not a 3rd word country -- it's just a very underwhelming country. Terrible productivity rate, highest household debt to income ratio, very lagging R&D, high cost of living vs median income. It also has no major tech / auto / military industry that is home grown and operated.

It's a raw material / natural resource economy that has a lot of red tape and restrictions on developing and utilizing it. Although the Ford government and Carney government are taking steps to push through that and FINALLY bypassing the Injun and Environmental /leftist groups who have been holding it up. So while it's not an innovation country it can supply those that are
Raw material and food, cellulosis etc....etc...
They does have not lesser natural resources than Russia btw. A lot potential for tourism, fishing etc.

Also I don't agree that they are technically impotent.
Canada was 2 nd after Norway in world country where heavy water had been produced in at least significant quantities.
Supplies from Canada were used also for Manhattan project...

They are relatively notable medical isotopes producers, when one reactor in Netherlands had been switched off for maintenance and facility in Canada had production reduced productivity then ...part of deficite had been covered by Poland... not all but still...

I don't know, maybe tradition ?
A lot of countries now are more atheistic than religous and still are using cross even on flag. Ok, one is equal sided regular cross, it does resemble a lot of things in religions, occultism and real funamental science.... it is also one from mythologic symbols of math ...
Another thing are religious confessional type crosses... still some does use them.

Canada and Australia, NZ are Commonwealth countries.... with center in Britain, however U.K doesn't have nor legal nor real tools for example to impact even their budget decisions...
Tradition?

Do you think the US will be downgraded to a fragile state?

The food bank stat is probably affected by our extremely high immigration levels. I'd be curious to know how many are immigrants.

I don't know...
However if it is as social service scheduled food stamps ...then recpient should have IMHO some address and ID etc and specialists will see is he eliglible or no.... or these refugees ofc.
Charity soap kitchens are different stuff, there you might get something without bireucracy...in nice europe btw.

Unusual to here emigration blamed.

It's usually the other way round, though an excess of either is bad.
Trudeau literally flooded the country with migrants at such a high rate he caused a housing crisis and affordability crisis that first time home buyers were shut out of the market. People left the country just in order to afford a house or even finding a place to rent. My city was flooded with over 10,000 in just a couple years...needless to say there wasnt 10,000 vacancies. And all the other reasons that have piled up like Colemanwasgoat said.
