Yeah it's one of the criteria. You need 2+ symptoms, hallucinations and disorganized speech means you have the two, 6+ months duration and it needs to have impaired your life in some way, work OR personal relationship issues.

You seem a little too fine for a schizophrenic though. Any depression or bipolar disorder? Sometimes those come with psychotic traits. Also why I was asking whether you got head trauma. Not all psychosis is schizophrenia.
