I just saw the original Mortal Kombat gameplay video on Youtube then I remembered going to the mall and my mom bought me a copy of Mortal Kombat for the Super Nintendo. Nostalgia hit me hard.

I actually miss going to Blockbuster on a Friday night to pick up a couple of good flicks and some munchies. Streaming services are convenient, but there was something exciting about going to the videostore.

I dug up one of my old favorite comics and remembered the old dingy poorly lit comic/book shop I bought it at. That old building now has a ton of bums and criminals in the area and I'd probably not go there anymore via car when before I'd go by bus.

Sometimes with 90s shit, especially with music and movies.
Truth. Just watched a video with Jerry Cantrell today and remembered back to the 90’s. Then as I’m waxing nostalgic, I realize that death has touched all but one of the Big 5.
Pearl Jam - All alive
Nirvana - Kurt Cobain
Sound Garden - Chris Cornell
Alice In Chains - Layne Staley and Mike Starr
Stone Temple Pilots - Scott Weiland

Plus a bunch of others from decent bands of the era.

All the time. It’s often too overwhelming, and I get lost in the way things used to be, or worse, the ways I imagined they were.

There is still a video store in the town I live in. It's the a chain called Family Video. I go there once and a while and rent UHD Blu-rays. They are only $2.50 for new releases and $1 for nearly new. The quality of them is leaps and bounds better than streaming. They also have a video game section where they rent XB1, PS4, and Switch Games. They even have a porn room in the back:D

It's a huge store too.

That's awesome. I'd visit that every time I had the chance...

Came to the thread to say 'lol no' but that pic in the OP hit me a little hard in the Nostalgia, ngl

When Chris went I just wanted to swoop in and wrap Vedder in cotton wool.
@Ottawaguy, yeah I miss Blockbuster Friday nights as well. A movie, bottle of wine and a pizza. Much more simple times.

yes, it gives me a euphoria like a happiness and followed by a down sadness when I realize those times have come and gone. I hate it, because you miss those innocent days
