Do you feel guilty when you skip the tip at self-checkout?

Nope. Not one bit. If they want more money they can ask to be paid more or walk out the door and get another job. People working these types of jobs aren’t doing anything different than what I did at those types of jobs when I was younger.

I will tip at a sit down restaurant tho.

If you're referring to my AV, she's got pasties on, it was easier to see when AVs appeared bigger

Pasties are teh ghey!

You're supposed to tip tradespeople?

I've never tipped a plumber or HVAC guy. What a horrible practice! Big jobs can cost thousands, I'm not tipping a percentage of that
Oh no, you are not supposed to tip as far as being mandatory like a waiter.

I worked in the trades through college and after. I still do some things myself. But mostly I call someone. If they do a good job, I always tip. Just something I do. Hard to find good people.

And by tip, not a percentage. I just give them an extra $50 or $100 or some gift cards for pizza or something.

I only tip at restaurants if they actually provide good service. You ain't fucking getting 18% for filling up my water once and asking how my meal is when I'm mid bite.

Nope, we don't have a tipping culture in Australia though, i've only really tipped in the US

Nope, and it's been brought up, but it seems like a method to build animosity and unreal expectations amongst two groups of people who will blame the other while the business rakes in more profits either way screwing their employees or passing the cost onto the consumer.

Didn't know fuy missed the penalty even if he is designated player to.take it. Others had jitters or something.

I just paid 15 bucks for a lousy Philly Cheesesteak… no way I’m tipping a nickel after that robbery . Take a water cup also

Self-checkout makes me think of a grocery store, and I was wondering why the hell would I tip a machine...

I also dont feel guilty for refusing to round up to the next dollar for charity. I donate when i want and wont be peer pressured. Also i heard companies write that off as charitable donations. Its not even their money.
It's a multimillion if not billion dollar corporation and they want you to donate your change {<jordan}
Taco Bell always asks if I want to round up. I do. <Fedor23>

But Starbucks nah unless I'm paying with cash and I have an extra dollar.
