You've never actually watched CNN, have you? They're a mainstream media source, and they were very hard on Obama.

No, the MSM and specialty media (like Fox) have a fundamentally different business model.
CNN was the only news I've ever watched. You are obviously painting me as a fox news viewer because I'm calling the bullshit that I watched unfold during this election and presidency. And I'm glad i did watch it unfold because I now realize what a dumb sucker I'd been.

I'm painting you as someone who hasn't watched CNN because your description of it is highly inaccurate. I understand that supporters of Trump think that the MSM is biased against him because bad stuff that Trump has done frequently gets covered. But it's not two-sided. CNN, NBC, CBS, etc. don't think of Trump as the enemy (they all pride themselves on being disliked by people in the gov't, of course, but that applies to Obama as much as Trump), and they don't seek out anti-Trump viewership. Fox clearly identifies itself as the right-wing media.

Fox has always been a racist propaganda outlet in my mind. They will never get a click out of me.
CNN is the same, just opposite.

Straight propaganda right here <Lmaoo>

Instead of reacting like a partisan, I recommend just going to the Websites and checking out what I said. Or you can try to imagine Fox acting like CNN, which covered a minor State Department IT security protocol violation of Clinton's as a major scandal, hired a commentator who had an active non-disparagement agreement with Trump, generally scrapped their anti-Trump conservatives and brought in pro-Trump conservatives, aired live, unedited footage of Trump rallies, etc. If liberal commentators on Fox were anti-Clinton, do you think Fox would drop them and bring in hardcore pro-Clinton commentators? Do you think Fox would air live, unedited Clinton rallies? Do you think Fox would cover a minor, non-criminal protocol violation of Trump as the top story of the year?

Acting like a partisan? What are you talking about? Who exactly am I partisaning? You arent even reading my post, you're doing that thing that partisans do where they paint anyone who doesnt agree with them as whatever their enemies are. We see through your bullshit jack.

I don't believe that you can fail to see the difference between Fox and CNN if you're looking objectively. Again, it's not about your judgment--it's just about their fundamentally different business models, with one appealing to a mainstream audience and striving for "balance" to achieve that and the other openly appealing to an audience that finds the MSM to not be to their partisan liking.

This hostility is also strange and clearly motivated by partisanship.

I'm not the one trying to, or accepting, wool being pulled over my eyes.

Apparently, you're resisting wool being pulled away from your eyes. Take a challenge and just watch and compare over say a week, and I am sure you will see what I'm talking about (make sure to focus on news rather than opinion shows).

Lack of credible evidence. If you don't mind, I'd rather not rehash these arguments, though. I already laid out my opinion in those threads, as did you and others with opposing views.

I don't believe you've ever told me why Hillary would have been a betterr president than Trump. I'm not talking about pizza gate.

That was what I said and what you said you disagreed with. The implication (if you're not the type who can think a step ahead) is that of course the press will treat people who act extremely differently differently (though, FYI, your assertions about what the media says about Trump are not true). Good piece this morning on a particular type of MSM bias toward Trump:

http://nymag.com/daily/intelligencer/2018/08/media-trump-russia-collusion-benefit-of-the-doubt.html

I disagreed with the second part of the sentence. I take it you didn't read the article about Trump and Obama being cut from the same cloth personality-wise though.

The NY Mag article makes some good points, mainly saying that the media generally concludes that Trump isn't smart enough to organize a grand conspiracy between his campaign and Russia and that he's primarily concerned with getting credit for winning for the election. I tend to agree.

Just out of curiosity if you had to choose a political affiliation for each the following outlets what would they be?

New York Times
Fox News
CNN
Huffington Post
Wall Street Journal
Washington Times
MSNBC
Drudge Report

Look at what happened today. This is only the beginning...

Had there been an open ended investigation into Hillarys inner circle being conducted by compromised Trump supporters conducting a witch hunt while being hit with 90%+ negative media coverage do you think all we would come up with are ndas to former partners?

I dislike them because there is a clear bias in the way each network views things. I don't mean that are fake news-- just that they each see things along certain lines just like everyone else.

We need them though -- deeply and if you use multiple sources you can get a fair idea what's going on.

I like alternative news commentary also but they are often more biased and less in need of being honest because they are just sharing their opinions on things.

Many alternative source s lie constantly-- at least as much as Trump does.

Mueller is a Republican, Rosenstein is a Republican, Comey was a Republican, everyone whose political affiliation has been identified is a Republican. Quit buying into Trump's fake news.

Wouldn't say I dislike it, but I definitely distrust it.

It makes me laugh when CNN and other orgs get on their high horse whenever Trump slams them - you guys just prove him right with your slanted, agenda-driven coverage.

It's a comical statement to anyone familiar with either of them. There's no lens through which people view personalities that would support that. Don't fall for such obvious propaganda.

By "political affiliation" do you mean party? I'd think you'd ask about ideological affiliation, which is different. But I think all of them are obvious. Nothing for the NYT or CNN, D for HuffPo and MSNBC, R for the rest.

All never trumpers and all supported Hillary. You'll have to come up with a new talking point.

Where's the evidence that they all supported Hillary? Trump nominated Rosenstein. You're the one with the stale, self-serving talking points coming from compulsive liar and charlatan Trump.

Many establishment Republicans are #NeverTrump'ers

Don't make the false assumption that just because they have an "R" next to their name that there's somehow an ally of President Trump.
