Do you believe in man-made climate change?

It's sad that we're still incapable of collective action, either through organisation or personal responsibility.
I guess we were fortunate that the actions taken to prevent the continued depletion of the ozone layer, or the actions taken to prevent increasingly bad acid rain (in developed nations, China and India have only just started to face the consequences), didn't need to be global to be effective.

I'm sure it's been said multiple time she ITT, but the strong correlations between human population, CO2 emissions, and average temperature, clearly point to manmade climate change being legit. It's sad that there are so many people, married to their own biases, that they refuse even acknowledge overwhelming evidence, if it is not compatible with their worldview.

Man made climate change is definitely real (facts don't lie).

However, once the balls is rolling in the CO2 cycle there's not much that can be done to reverse it. Even if humans stopped all emissions, the ice would continue to melt and warm the climate, melting more ice, etc.

We should spend more time on how we handle the affects of climate change and less time on how we stop it (we can't, too late).

Before modern humans landed in North America a squirrel could travel from Maine to Florida by just traveling the tree tops. Humans came in and absolutely destroyed that environment permanently altering the climate in that zone to this day. Climate change isn’t just carbon emissions. It’s the deforestation of millions of hectaacres of trees, it’s the mass pollution of our waters, it’s the chemicals we burn to make product. It’s everything people do on this planet that hurts the environment. If you can’t see that humans are fucking up this planet you have to be blind.

No way we could have a meaningful effect on global atmospheric conditions and change things beyond the range they've been fluctuating over the millennia, right?

That’s just liberal globalist media propaganda.

The weather & climate have always changed. Change started thousands of years before there were cars, factories & humans. The man made climate change theory is a blatant lie.

Exactly. The so-called solutions to climate change still don't get to the root of the problem which is excessive consumption. People claim they want to save the planet, but they don't want to change their lifestyle by living a simple life. People want something done so they can continue living a life of greed, endless consumption and excess. There is no real solution without a drastic change to how most of us live our lives.

This is the issue and the problem is that people (myself included if I'm being honest) then don't do as much as they could on an individual level because they don't see the point because it seems useless in the grand scheme of things. It seems to go as far as applying to nations when you read people say that there's no point lowering emissions because China won't lower emissions.

I honestly don't know what the solution is. I wouldn't want it, but it's actually probably the best argument for one world governments and communism.

Yeah, there was a big change which just completely coincidentally happened to coincide with the industrial revolution. Completely nothing to do with humans.

I believe in climate change. I believe that man is also adding to climate change. So both.

This probably sounds ridiculous but as a child drilling for petrol irked me. With the tectonic plates surely all that oil deep in the ground is keeping em lubed .

( obviously the depths are way off , but I didn't know that as a child lol)

Probably but simple solution is to stay the course to the point this planet can no longer sustain human life. It’s a problem that will solve itself.

A new documentary.

People commit suicide by locking themselves up in the garage with a running car and die from that 1 car.
I would say that proofs this shit kills.
Now consider all cars and factories in the world and tell me you really think that all that black smoke does nothing to the living things on the planet.
You don't even need to see any stats of polution, just use a bit of common sense, but common sense seems to be a rare thing these days.

That's the oldest scam in human history.

In the ancient world: GIVE FOOD TO THE TEMPLE OR THE GODS WILL MAKE THE WEATHER BAD

In the church: GIVE MONEY TO THE CHURCH OR GOD WILL MAKE THE WEATHER BAD

At the top of aztec pyramids: GIVE YOUR CHILDREN AS HUMAN SACRIFICES TO THE GODS OR THEY WILL MAKE THE WEATHER BAD

In communist propaganda: PAY US MORE TAXES OR CLIMATE CHANGE WILL MAKE THE WEATHER BAD

He's right you know.
