The colby beef with usman was entertaining, but wasnt real either.

Both have 2 losses to the champ, and mas is likely about to be on the downslide, so it was an obvious easy payday for 2 guys with no clear path in the division.

Instead of starting a new thread, let me ask this. Do real beefs actually enhance fights in the Octagon? We're not talking about street fights. If you really hate somebody, will you fight more aggressively? Or could you possibly become more cautious to avoid making a mistake and getting humiliated?

beef is just another way of saying this person emotionally affects you. fighting emotionally is what gets guys like Cody Garbrandt ko'd. i would say its bad.

Well Colbys schtick is to shit talk everyone. However if even one side of a beef has a beef, it is a beef. As a man Im sure Colby doesnt like the fact Masvidal was trying to fight him on the streets on multiple occasions. That could be a reason as to Colby not being fond of him.

I dont think you can argue its fake at this point. Masvidals coach confirmed Colby didnt pay him. While Colby might not really hate Jorge as much I doubt he likes him in any way. This seems real and Colby taking shots at Jorges ex wife didnt help matters.
