I believe there has to be some realness to it. Why would he go so far with this that he has to leave ATT? If its fake too many people have to be in on it,and it doesnt/hasnt really benefitted the rest of them. You really think Porier wants to put on this act just so that MAYBE 5 yrs later he can fight him for some money? doesnt make any sense.

Also when Mas got knocked out cold,Colby gloated over it live on tv in the audience. I mean who would do that if they were still friends?

I think Conor understimated how much damage he actually did though. Even that little rat lobov was like "holy shit" when the glass shattered.

I guess I always just thought that the dolly was Conor being coked out and drunk and he went overboard on a dumb publicity stunt rather than really being so personally offended that he was willing to risk his career/jail/fight/other fighters blah blah going to some street war trying to big brother for his friend getting slapped, but okay - maybe I'm wrong.

My question was - was the Lobov slap really so personal to Conor that THAT'S why he went crazy with the antics? Or was he just trying every possible thing he could to get in Khabib's head?

We've seen him go crazy when he's coked up before. He might have legit said OH HELL NO and got on a plane. But I dont know if he was capable of keeping that energy without forcing it. The presser for the fight I saw a lot of rattled forced hostility from Conor. Where with Khabib,he didnt need to force how he felt.

A) Conor wasn’t even fighting at the time. He hasn’t fought for like 2 years and was stripped of 2 belts for inactivity… there was legitimate doubt that he would ever return

B) Khabib wasn’t even the champion yet… Are you saying they planned this attack to set up a fight between someone who wasn’t even champion and someone may never fight again??

C) So rather than explain to the police it was a stunt gone wrong Conor decided to GO TO JAIL and HAVE A TRIAL and risk losing his VISA just to keep up appearances?

D) And the people on the bus who were hospitalized, did you think they volunteered to be injured and kicked out of their fights and go to the hospital??

A - Conor was coming off Mayweather a year prior and while, sure, it was possible he never came back again after making 100m - if he did come back it was OBVIOUSLY going to be for Khabib, who won the title THAT night in a match everyone and their mother knew he would win.
