These happen a lot here in LA

They steal someone's car, then they use it to ram and break into a store where they smash and grab everything they can

People here have accepted it as a fact of life and something you just have to live with. Even if they are caught, they are out the next day to do it again.

Steal car, break into store, loot

Repeat.

Steal car, break into store, loot

Repeat.

That’s wild. Can you substantiate your claim that this happens a lot? That when they get caught they are out 12 hours later and then repeat the offense?

These guys are like modern day bandits or pirates, you might as well call in the military. Track them down like they're enemy combatants... if they surrender send them to El Salvador.

Yes, California has become a crime ridden shit hole compared to just 20 years ago. My buddy saw the aftermath of one of these robberies. He was on 101 and there was jewelry all over, I guess they were losing it out of the car as the cops were chasing them.

Pirates had no rights under the law so they could be punished in whatever way the people that caught them saw fit. Maybe it's time we treat this criminals the same way.

Nope... then again, I don't live in a shithole.

Approximately 21,000 smash n grabs and commercial burglaries in California in 2024 with intent to steal merchandise valued over $950 according to the California Department of Justice crime, reports and analyses reflecting reported incidents to law enforcement...

That’s a lot, even for a state as big as California. I've been here my whole life, this type of crime is constantly occurring in the bay area where I'm at. As for LA I feel safe saying it's a bigger problem.
