Assuming he doesn't die in the near future and knowing not everyone here is a total trump follower (@SKYNET isn't really imo) I think the onus is on everyone to do better, regardless what you believe happened in the last four years. Because, the next four years won't be any different either if there is no change

Well that is truly horrifying if you see nothing wrong with teachers trying to talk to your kids about their sex lives and spend time with them outside of school.

Tim Pool calls (or called) himself a "moderate liberal" while endlessly trashing the left and carrying water for donald trump or other right wingers. That dude Sargon of Akkad had the exact same shtick for years (he used the term "classic liberal"), they see the benefit of giving the surface-level impression of impartiality with none of the responsibility of providing fair and objective analysis in their viewpoints/takes.

If I can get through to you and get you to learn more about future Vice President Walz, I will consider this thread a success.

I think you are a decent human being, and if you got to know Tim Walz a little better you would see that he is too. It's incredibly rare in a politician at any level of government, and it's almost unheard of at the national level.

Kamala Harris is an opportunistic career politician and corporate centrist. She not an amazing candidate but she's light years better than Trump.

Circumstances forced her to pick a guy like Walz, and having a man of his character so close to the Presidency is an opportunity that the United States has not had in a very long time.

Not only is he not a "POS" as you call him, he is by all accounts a good man who has helped a lot of people in his life.

Meanwhile, JD Vance is a Christian Nationalist venture capitalist who doesn't believe in divorce.

I don't know enough about the speakers tonight compared to the previous 3 nights. Pete, Wes, Hakeem were all brilliant. I'm not too fond of Warren. Kerzinger is flippin brilliant and I did like Desperate Housewives...I'm sure Shady JD loves her.

I think it depends on the direction the GOP takes after they lose this election. Trumpism is built on hatred and negativity, and that will continue unless Republicans reject it.

This is where you lose me. My vote is up for grabs. This crap is how we ended up with Biden when there were much younger fresher candidates on the ticket. They all dropped and backed Biden when many knew he wouldnt last 4 years.

ok. I knew very little about either a few weeks ago. Both are VPs for dogshit POTUS candidates and Vance did not use a Twitter troll to slander Walz. You obviously have preference for Walz so there's not going to be an equilibrium there, you obviously have an irrational hatred for Trump so there's literally nothing Vance can do to win you over. That's about as far across this bridge you or I will get

Everyone dropped out and backed Biden to block Bernie Sanders. The DNC had no choice.

Vance wil never win any reasonable person over because he is a religious fanatic who is trying to impose his religion on the lives of everyone in the country.

Walz has done great things for the people of Minnesota. What has Vance done?
