Elections DNC today in Chicago

Gotta admit, i don't know what he is supposed to apologize about, i haven't been paying attention. the stolen valor thing?
Apparently @SKYNET feels that in light of the couch rumor, Walz’s remark in which he said “I’d love to debate JD Vance, if he’ll get off the couch and show up” is just wayyyyyyyyy over the line.

<36>

It's funnier that JD Vance couch fucking.

Totally normal. Not at all weird and creepy.

It's so funny that these guys thing the horse cum story is effective messaging. They have completely missed the main thing that made the couchfucker story funny, which is that it was plausible.
Seeing them make such a fuss over "weird" and the couch thing after 8 years of Trump's relentless bullying is just so odd to me, it makes them seem so juvenile and hypocritical. The pivot to policy is what's really hilarious to me though, as if Trump is some policy wonk and not someone whose campaigns have largely been based on name calling and bluster.
Honestly if you think any of this is actually funny you're a weird manchild.

Grow up already loser.
When Trump first burst onto the scene there was a novelty to his act compared to his more traditional, stuffy predecessors. But now he's been the leader of the party for 8 years so we've seen a generation of younger terminally online right wing weirdos enter the ranks of the staffers and campaign workers of major GOP politicians and their vision of the world is off putting even to right wingers who are more normal and less plugged in online. Hence DeSantis' promo vid with the Sonnenrad or Trump's campaign video with a reference to a "unified Reich" and now this horse cum, stomach pump stuff.

all i can say about that is it sounds like he knew what he was doing and for a 60 year old to debase himself to play the fiddle for twitter weirdos is...disappointing. it's something i'd expect trump to do honestly.

i thought it was common knowledge the couch thing was fake.
lol why would anyone bring that up at the candidate level? that's for twitter weirdos to spread and discuss.
I'm as casual as it gets. I dont particularly follow news cycles beyond what I read here. But I did see the clip where Walz joked about Vance getting off the couch, I just thought Vance did some weird shit when he was in college and yeah hes a weirdo, never really found it interesting enough to dig deeper, despite the fervor over the right being called weirdos by the left in a calculated attack. But apparently this was a lie and our VP thought it was ok to slander his VP opponent with this in jest. That's gloves off in my book

Apparently years of harm and suffering by the party in control of the executive branch for 12 out of the last 16 years makes this justifiable and the rights retaliation with a equine semen story was crossing the line.

Sounds like a bully got what was coming to him

If my VP candidate wants to be funny and bully his opponent but not apologize for slander, then milk does a body good apparently

Still waiting for any of you to show me where Vance prompted this miniscule, minor, harmless attack
By being JD Vance. Stop clutching your pearls.

Trump brought this style of politics into the mainstream. And compared to his garbage, the stuff you are so offended by is nothing. The joke Walz made was a harmless reference to a weird meme that has entered pop culture. He was making fun of JD Vance because JD Vance is a ridiculous person.

If you are actually offended by what Tim Walz said, you can never call anyone a snowflake, ever.

Maybe for people with traumatic brain injuries.

For people that are not butt hurt Leftists.

It's been funny for a very long time... until used against a Democrat VP Candidate that decided couch fucking jokes were on the table.

Don't be slick Ares, man up <LikeReally5> you can admit Walz is a straight up bitch for not apologizing to Vance

I totally agree, but please spare me if you're going to whine and complain for 10 years over what a POS he is when you all are willing to show what POS hypocrites you are
