Everyone speaking are people who have a political history or currently in state or federal offices. Instead of tearing their shirts off and saying let Trump-o-mania run wild over you. It was a clown show and RNC members before Trump tore it apart many say they are not voting for Trump but not voting for anyone. Most noted is Mike Pence, General Kelly and over a dozen former members of Trumps staff one actually going to talk at DNC. This is an image they want to portray not pushing people off the building like Trump.

Note of irony about this, there is a subgroup of people who believe in this pseudoscientific nonsense called "light therapy." And I don't mean well-documented scientific notions on the effects of color spectrum on things like REM sleep patterns. What I mean is, they believe you can buy a light, put a color filter over it, shine it on yourself, and it will cure cancer. I used to date a dipsh*t Yippy girl (she was a hippy by choice, meaning she came from a wealthy family and chose to live that life, much to the dismay of her Father) who worked in a place that hosted a seminar of these weirdos. I had to stifle laughter to get through their presentation.

There has been a lot said about the pathway from crunchy Mom to the far right, because of the conspiracy-minded mentality of people who do sh*t like believing essential oils fix actual infections, colloidal silver kills flus, these are the minds that birth the nonsense "cures" for covid, or rather the people who want to exploit these people's skepticism do. Trump parroting this kind of pseudoscience just confirmed to me, back then, that he was surrounded by and influenced by conspiratards. These are the trademark "they're all lying to you!!" types, the Dale Gribbles:
