I love Austin but unfortunately I may need to give it up.
Move to Portland. I’ll get you a hook up on tattoos and hair dye. You can find yourself a nice vegan bike messenger who dances at night and settle in together with your small dogs you take hiking on the weekends

The West should ban freedom of expression even when it doesn't hurt other people?
Why would they leave Iran if they were true "muslims", isn't Iran like a pretty hardcore Islamic Regime (post-revolution).
Which Muslim Americans? And what does that have to do with Muslim Americans when we're discussing American politics. I hate to break it to you, but the billion plus Muslims in the world believe vastly different things and have vastly different opinion on hot button issues. It's useless to claim that all Muslims believe X or Y when it comes to most political issues.
Because for both non practicing Christians and Muslims Christians are far more acceptingWhy would I distinguish between identifying as a Muslim and practicing as a Muslim when I wouldn't do the same for any other religious group? You're just trying to find an way to manipulate the polling to favor your preconceived notions.
Muslim Americans poll ahead of white evangelicals, Hispanic protestants and Jehovah's Witness (aka "many Christian groups") for LGBT protections and they poll ahead of sevearl more Christian denominations when it comes to religious refusals of service (another hobby horse for the Christian right and Republican party).
When it comes to gay marriage, they support it more than Mormons, Hispanic protestants, evangelicals and Jehovah's Witnesses, and they're effectively tied with a lot of other smaller protestant denominations. All in all, there's next to no evidence that Muslim Americans by and large are particularly hostile to gay Americans and issues, and there's plenty of evidence that shows them being more supportive than many Christian groups.

Again, I have no idea why the data point when discussing American politics is Muslims in other countries, as opposed to Muslim Americans. There's no denying that there are plenty of regressive opinions across the world, that's like saying the sky is blue. Obvious and plainly irrelevant to the current thread and topic at hand. ]What do all those countries have in common?
The entire Muslim American population, which has been polled quite regularly on the matter. With the normal skewing toward support from younger and more educated or affluent Muslim Americans, just like most other demographics.Which Muslim Americans?
Be Specif.
You mean those on the left?
OK....so like I said originally. Muslim Americans as a whole as supportive of gay rights, even more so than many Christian demographics. I'm glad we've gone in a circle that returned to you reiterating my original point.Because for both non practicing Christians and Muslims Christians are far more accepting
Honestly- if you like nature even a little then you should come check it out. Dont let the media trick you- it’s beautiful here, it’s not bombed out or on fire. I can drive 2 hours from my house and be at the beach, on top of a mountain to snowboard, or out to the high desert to go deer hunting. Tons of trees, parks, hikes, fishing, along with some of the best food and craft beer you’ve ever had.My god you couldn’t pay me to live there!
Now i am going to be doubting you very much.Again, I have no idea why the data point when discussing American politics is Muslims in other countries, as opposed to Muslim Americans. P.S. I'll also note that supporting people who don't like you (ie "gay progressives" and supporting a ceasefire in Gaza" is not uncommon in politics. Some might say it's even the Christian thing to do, love thy neighbor, even if they don't feel the same. Your stance is fine, but most of the other poeple I've replied to are just interested in partisan hackery and finding data points they can twist to support their narrative, not deriving a narrative from data points.

Ah yes going back to the polls/surveys right? The entire Muslim American population, which has been polled quite regularly on the matter.
It's a nice way to say they're morons. They are not strategic thinkers.
They're a heck of a lot better than random twitter posts and anecdotes. Perhaps a basic intro to stats class at your local community college would help you better understand why polling is more useful than twitter when understanding the opinions of large populations.Ah yes going back to the polls/surveys right?

Donald Trump is a disgusting piece of crap.
Trump: Kamala was on her knees the whole time that Obama was president. Go ahead MAGA point out a time when Obama, Biden or Harris put sh%t like this up. This is why FOX is giving up and turning their attention on the congressional races. They are in the middle of another 3/4 of a billion dollar lawsuit thanks to him.
