Trump is making decisions, but they're heavily influenced by billionaires like Theil who was the real reason Vance was chosen as the GOP VP or to solely line his pockets. Look at how much money Kushner walked away with while Trump was in office. It's staggering. I'm not saying the Dems aren't without fault and there isn't special interest money involved either, but there's a lot more going on here than gas prices, lying about crime, hanging your hat on inflation and party lines the politicians are pandering to people about.
