I bought a bluray player around 10 years back, along with a surround sound system and the Dirty Harry collection on bluray.
Hooked it all up and Started watching Dirty Harry that night and the power went out (not sure why).
Got tired of waiting for the power to come back on and went to bed.
Got woken up 2 hrs later by yelling and crashing out the front. Got out of bed and heard what sounded like gun shots. I raced to the living room and groggily figured out the power came back on and the dvd player just restarted from the beginning...but the tv remained off so everything was in darkness.
So the start of dirty harry always reminds me of that night. Scared the shit out of me lol. Thought I had a violent home invasion going on.
Took me a while to figure out the bad guy was also the dude in Hellraiser.
I still like Dirty Harry the most from that series. It has some great lines. My favourite being 'this one's on the house', by the guy the baddie pays to beat him up.
