Those were the ones I was thinking about

You seriously talking glove grabbing when Yan literally intentionally kneeing downed fighters in the head? There are bunch of other DQ's which would fall into this too.

Glove grabbing, fence grabbing just appear to be part of the game. It happens in most fights to some degree if you in those positions.
The knee was a DQ not a tactic <Lmaoo>

I agree that it can be instinctual, but it is ABSOLUTELY the fighter's job to not cheat.
If you ain’t cheating you ain’t trying ….when I boxed I threw rabbit punches , low blows and elbows when I felt the ref was on opposite side or felt I could get away with it ….. It’s not a foul unless the ref calls it lol

10 mins of fighting and the only time he hurt Romero was when he held the gloves huh no connection
Yeah man, Tim broke a rule. So either give him a warning for grabbing a glove, or take a point. Tim doing that doesn't give Yoel the right to refuse to answer the bell and get extra time. Doesn't take a Rocket Scientist to figure this shit out. Just because Fighter A broke a rule during the right, Fighter B doesn't get to start breaking rules. He failed to answer the bell. He was told to get off the stool and he sat there pretending he didn't understand. The fight should have been called off when he refused to stand up.

Are you serious?
Grabbing a glove and landing damaging strikes off of it the point you almost finished your opponent is a DQ. Not a warning or a point deduction. You can't undue the damage that Kennedy caused by cheating and it would be an unfair advantage to let Kennedy continue to fight with that advantage.

As far a Romero is concerned he didn't break any rules. He was following the ref's instructions. In this thread I have posted a video of Joe Rogan talking to Kennedy about his conversation with BJM about the incident. Another person literally posted a video of BJM and Josh Thomson talking about the incident. Both times BJM said Yoel did nothing wrong and he ordered Yoel to stay sitting.

1 guy blatantly cheated
1 guy was following referee instructions.

So take a point. Yoel refused to stand up and get off the stool. Fight should have been called off when he pretended he didn't know the round was starting and refused to get up.
What strange rules lawyering people go through for that fight. The blatant foul is what caused Yoel to even be hurt at the end of the round. If they acknowledge that foul and take a point, Yoel would also get additional recovery time.

You guys are literally arguing Tim's foul should be completely ignored, but then Yoel should immediately lose because he was rocked from that foul. Tim's only real damage over the entre fight. It's a ludicrous, nonsensical pov.

I don't think the elbow snatch or oblique kicks are dirty. The oblique kick could severely hurt a knee, yes, but so can a leg lock. And the only way the oblique kick would do severe damage is if most of a fighters weight was planted on that leg. It's certainly not the nicest thing, but jeez it's not criminal.

Caio Magalhaes spitting blood at Josh Samman (RIP) was absolutley appalling.

Most of those are legal. That just depends more on your moral compass. Fighting is dirty period, it's about legal and banned that should be the issue.

It's like armbars/kimuras/americanas aren't viewed as dirty but a standing version of it is? LOL
Agreed.

I understand why people dont like this move, but its perfectly legal so why not do it. Jones doing that took away Glover's weapon.

This was disgusting. She was hunting for the eye ffs.
Kinda a good move on the street ……But if you dig someone’s eye half out and they still put you to sleep …..they probably not gonna be very nice while your sleeping lol

MMA fans be like:
OMG, he is trying to injure his opponent, this is so dirty.
<{hughesimpress}>

It's funny how you never see this gif when people are bitching about him not continuing.

It's clearly a huge knee.
Yan is my favourite current fighter ….but he drilled him with that knee ….. I knew as soon as it landed the fight was over ….it was Aljo eye roll and back flop that got him shit on lol

I guess it's because the standing version doesn't give you a chance to tap out. But it is legal. Jones fights really dirty, how many fighters went into surgery after fighting him?
Dirty but legal? You’re soft bud ……

Roy Nelson rubbing that sweaty beard in people's faces during the clinch.

I'd tap
