Dirtiest Tactic Seen in Modern UFC?

Mccarthy didn't actually tell him to sit on the stool did he? He wanted all the extra vaseline wiped off but Yoel didn't need to be on the stool. That actually cost extra time since that stool should have been removed by the end of the 60 seconds. No need to be on that stool.
And BJM said if he could do it over again he would've ordered Yoel off the stool.

Oh jesus it has to be that bitch that was gouging that other chicks eyes.

Eye poking in the context of trying to block a strike or posting I can understand as well as an accidental low blow, but fuck that ho. She deserves a huge fine and never see the octagon again. Preferably a huge enough time it bankrupts her and her kids end up having to carry the debt sort of fine.

Whoever grappler who purposefully doesn't take a shower in all of fight week just to get an advantage.

It's a decent tactic though. In a grueling fight where im getting outgrappled, tired as fuck while getting beaten on while the other guy smells like shit, tapping out is more of an option

Pretty sure this was the most dirty thing that happened in that fight

Its funny because everyone wanted Smith to fake an injury to beat Jones lol

It's funny how you never see this gif when people are bitching about him not continuing.

It's clearly a huge knee.

The early, obviously intentional eye poke. Guaranteed no point deduction, the other guy can't see, better chance to win the round. The Jones and DC specialty.

What do you shermanos think is the dirtiest tactic seen in the modern UFC?
Conor grabbing khabibs glove? The abhorrent glove grab olivera used?
I do not want any submissions of tank abbot cock punching a boxer in the Sands Casino back in 1995, thanks.
Khabib bathing together with his brothers.

You seriously talking glove grabbing when Yan literally intentionally kneeing downed fighters in the head? There are bunch of other DQ's which would fall into this too.

Glove grabbing, fence grabbing just appear to be part of the game. It happens in most fights to some degree if you in those positions.

For me it still is and always will be doping usage. It can make you have an unnatural advantage that nobody can train for and it can cause your opponent some gruesome injuries.

Jon Jones' eye-poking was so extreme they made new rules just because of him.

Most of those are legal. That just depends more on your moral compass. Fighting is dirty period, it's about legal and banned that should be the issue.

It's like armbars/kimuras/americanas aren't viewed as dirty but a standing version of it is? LOL
I guess it's because the standing version doesn't give you a chance to tap out. But it is legal. Jones fights really dirty, how many fighters went into surgery after fighting him?

Lots of fighters go to the hospital after a fight. Others have had their limbs broken. Only thing that's a real issue with Jones game is the eye pokes, but he's not the only fighter that uses eye pokes. There's pretty much an eye poke at every single UFC event.

You can tap standing or on the ground so it's not really an issue. I think what people consider dirty is just techniques/tactics they are not used to training or defending against. That's all it really is and that's why they view it dirty. Because every technique is dangerous and can cause damage from striking to grappling. It's just people's personal opinions of the techniques that changes people's individual perception of the techniques.

Tim committed the first fowl with the glove grab
So take a point. Yoel refused to stand up and get off the stool. Fight should have been called off when he pretended he didn't know the round was starting and refused to get up.

Dirty how? What makes it dirty compared to any other legal technique or tactic?
Obviously you should only throw strikes that wont hurt your opponent. Yeah, his opponents are trying to do the same thing to him - but that doesn't mean he actually has to try to hurt the other guy.
