did natalia silva surpise anyone else?

damn, some people here are treating her like Youssef Zalal against Calvin Kattar, don't fall for this comments

it was a good fight, good highlights, and she just beat Grasso in all exchanges, even when Alexa went all in

She moved a lot but more because Grasso was good in cutting spaces I think

She won the rounds "easy" too, so no need to expose herself, Grasso had a good chin too and ate some bombs (check her face), but it's WMMA so less KO power anyway

She'll now be in a deserved #1 spot at flyweight, just like Virna is in her deserved #1 spot at strawweight, and considering both divisions have a clear contender for the champs, I suspect the UFC will do what it does best by ignoring that and making them both fight backwards while the company takes way too long to put together a champ vs champ fight. Bonus points if that fight never happens because one of the champs pulls out due to injury.
I wish champ Vs champ fights weren't so forced. I think it's better when things naturally line up with the correct timing. Ala dc Vs stipe, volk Vs islam
No. Grasso always been overrated.
I think being cute helps

Out of all the good skilled wmma fighters she the best looking - so hey she's got that on her side.

Her fighting style sucks, she's just fast that's all. Reminds me of that point-fighting SW Yan. Without the speed she's just fucking terrible. UFC needs to stop rewarding runners and point fighters.

Nah, not really. I figured Natalia would have the advantage with her speed and foot work but I expected the fight to be closer than it was. I did not expect Natalia to completely shut down Alexa's offense like that. In regards to that I was surprised. Val is gonna have a tall task beating Natalia when they fight. If Val can't find a way to slow her down I don't really see this version of Val beating her. The one from a few years ago? Yes, the one now that's slowed down? No..
