International Did COVID come from a Lab in China? US Energy Dept asserts it was a lab leak [megathread]

This country has never been united about anything, and it doesn't need to be to function. We had literal segregation at one point and it didn't destroy us. I don't think a bunch of people yelling about politics is going to collapse the society.

You have to have at least a majority of the population who believe in the fundamentals of the country in order for it to continue. We’re on a downturn.

The fact that it was politically impossible to discuss as a society that China, AT THE LEAST, hid information which caused incalculable damage and death is a great indicator of how demoralized we are as a country. We couldn’t even come together to say “that looks fucky. We should be mad they withheld valuable information” without being called racist and xenophobic.

The last 18 months have been transformative for me in that I have little to no faith our country will ever come together for anything ever again. We’re toast.

That's what this UFO narrative is about. Project Bluebeam v.2020

Yes there is. I'm not saying its confirmed but China has benefitted in multiple ways from the release of the virus, and they absolutely have shown willingness to do so.
They wouldn't have as it
Why is there no chance they released it intentionally?
Because the risk out weighs reward.

China was/is winning , they're known to be patient n perfer the long game. Why do this n risk becoming a global pariah when your already winning the game. Then again maybe Xi went full arrogant retard I don't know.

I in no way say ccp is above doing it just say they wouldn't due to risk

Yeap.

The accusing others of exactly what they do is an affront to everything that matters. The current left establishment are inexcusable.

In the population war, they win. As I posted earlier, millions of dead for them means nothing. They will have plenty more bots to force into labor.

There is another one much closer.

Wuhan has two labs where we know bats and humans interacted. One is the Institute of Virology, eight miles from the wet market; the other is the Wuhan Center for Disease Control and Prevention, barely 300 yards from the market.

I dont believe that it is confirmed that either lab had live bats; they take swabs and samples from the bats natural habitats and send them back to the lab. Im not sure why they would need to house live bats anyway after they have the samples.

Yet no wet market animals have been found infected....

You are not thinking

You are parroting the NEW media/Faucci narrative. That it's now probable.

Those of us who called this right from the get go were labeled nuts. We were right. It's that simple.

BTW, I ALWAYS said this was a LEAK of an altered Coronavirus
I'm parroting what "new Fauci media narrative"? WTF are you talking about?

The Wuhan market theory hasn't been favored for a year:
The coronavirus didn't really start at that Wuhan 'wet market' (Mar-2020)
You guys are the ones dismissing the wet market theory based on distance when distance had nothing to do with the mechanics of that chain of transmission. This doesn't require a wet market, and we discussed this at length last year in the thread where we all roundly mocked Chinese urban dwellers for insisting online, to "educate" us ignorant westerners, that dogs aren't consumed in China. Meanwhile, that South African bloke created a vlog traveling all around the country showing butchered dog being sold for consumption-- hung in windows. Hell, he even showed the dozens of restaurants in each region that advertised it on their menus via his smartphone.

Wet markets were merely favored early on for the volume of their meat sold, and their notoriously unsanitary conditions that expose many different animals to each other. Yet the Chinese's rapacious and unsanitary consumption of wildlife isn't restricted to wet markets, nor the distance transport of animals along its new highways, and the density of the population in Wuhan doesn't require this sort of bazaar for mass exposure. Someone transporting food on a trip to a family member could be patient zero. More recently, favoring the immediate jump from a bat to a human via the lungs, it could have simply been a traveling human him or herself. The first person they infected might not be in Wuhan. That is simply where it accelerated and rapidly spread once reached. How would we know? The Chinese haven't been honest about a goddamn thing.

Furthermore, it was precisely this condemnation of wet markets which activated the Chinese to disseminate propaganda stigmatizing the wet market theory as a Western chauvinist conspiracy itself. So I'm damned no matter which theories I acknowledge as credible.

You're tunneling on a single challenge to a more organic chain of zoonotic transmission, and this is that we the closest biological relative to the virus we know was discovered happened to be in a bat cave 1,000 miles south in 2013. It isn't just distance muddying the waters, here. It's time. That's a long time it has been out in the wild. Who knows where it migrated naturally among the bats.

I've simply pointed out that Fauci is now acknowledging the possibility that it escaped from the lab (however that occurred) as a possibility he isn't willing to rule out. I haven't parroted any other media narrative, except that this theory remains less favored, currently.

On November 16, 2019, in the United States—November 17 in China—a fifty-five-year-old resident of China’s Hubei province is put “under medical surveillance” for an unexplained ailment, according to The Guardian.10 The British media outlet reports that, according to nonpublic medical surveillance data held by the Chinese government, this man “could have been the first person to contract COVID-19.”11 The virus is believed to have originated in the Huanan “wet market,” a wildlife emporium in the city of Wuhan that sells—among other exotic species—“ foxes, wolf cubs, civets, turtles, and snakes.”12
Per The Guardian, while Beijing will report to the World Health Organization (WHO) that its “first confirmed [COVID-19] case . . . [was] diagnosed on December 8,” there is evidence to suggest that U.S. intelligence was aware of the approximately two dozen cases of the novel coronavirus recorded in Hubei province in November 2019, including that of the man in Hubei who may or may not have become the pandemic’s “patient zero” on November 16/17.13 The South China Morning Postreports that while “interviews with whistle-blowers from the [Chinese] medical community suggest Chinese doctors only realized they were dealing with a new disease in late December [2019],” it is “possible that there were reported [COVID-19] cases dating back even earlier than [November 16/17].”14 This possibility appears to be confirmed by a Business Insider report on “a research paper from infectious-disease researchers in China” that finds “a surprising trend on the Chinese social-media platform WeChat: Usage of keywords related to the new coronavirus spiked more than two weeks before officials confirmed the first cases . . . [including] in posts and searches on WeChat . . . [beginning on] November 17.”15 That a “spike” in such searches comes in mid-November 2019 suggests that WeChat search logs including terms relating to a new illness may have begun appearing on Chinese social media at the beginning of November or even earlier.

Timeline forgot

End of February - Bunker Boy got intel about Europe

That same week - Bunker Boy called it a "Hoax"

Middle of March - Bunker Boy finally blocks flights from Europe after NYC was already hampered

In Italy, they had a bunch of blood samples for a lung study. All random and taken in the first week of september of 2019. 10% of the 900 some samples. came back with COVID-19 anti-bodies, which means the virus was already in Italy in August. I am not entirely convinced it originated in China, that wet markets are that significant of a mutagen environment, or that the virus wasn't bouncing for a few years already before 2020. When I read reports on spanish flu, it was initially called just some pulmonary ailment by british troops in France. After the pandemic had passed, several doctors identified that they had seen the virus a full year before anyone identified it. COVID-19 has so many symptoms that are shared with other ailments that I doubt anyone would notice anything until it became obvious something was up. No one has found patient zero for HIV and that has a much more distinct features, making it easier to track.

Interesting. Listened to a show about the Spanish flu and what happened to it. Apparently it never went away. It mutated several times and is the origin of the flu virus that is still circulating. It was an episode of radiolab.
