Diaz vs McGregor 2 will be at Welterweight

Has to be at welterweight how else is he supposed to win the McGregor belt back
 
Garbage. I am also hearing rumor of Aldo v Edgar for interim champ.

There should be no reason to have an interim belt if the "champion" is not injured and is clearly capable of defending his belt.

And if they are going to make this stupid fight, it should be at 145/155, not sure which idiot came up with the idea of having it at 170... unless someone is meant to get injured and the replacement fight is a title fight with Robbie Lawler.

At least making it for the Interim belt would lock in McGregor's next FW opponent with no excuses, ducking talk, choosing opponents etc.
 
who wants to see that rematch, he clearly lost so mccregor has to earn a rematch by duing his duty and defending his title against edgar, or vacate it since he rather wants to fight at other weightclasses it seems...

can you all see the pieces falling into place? Anderson vs Weidman 2 all over again. full camp Nate will be shredded and a cardio machine. bum knee or not i hope he can take this fight. Conor should've just let it be. Diaz did not punish him when he was in trouble and maybe that was a mistake. this time around if given the chance Nate will go all chicano beat down.

I just used BJPenn.com as my source. Ariel is the one saying it. He just said on the MMAhour that it's not a rumor at all, it's a real thing

Ariel said it on the MMA hour. Pretty much sounds like this fight is done deal and all but official for 170 pounds as the main event for UFC 200.

I love the fight, but I must say I'm a little disappointed to hear it will be at 170.

My thought is why 170? Does Conor think the extra weight will give him extra power?

Or is his Ego attached to getting a win at that weight class? Whatever the answer is ... I am sure it's stupid. imo
