First of all, not in terms of fight ability.

But... seriously... how fucking fun is Conor McGregor vs Nate Diaz? Am I the only one that thinks this should've been the fight that was made in the first place? It's a shame that Nate isn't going to have a full camp and the fight won't be at '55 but people like Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz don't come along too often and to have the two of them locked in a cage fighting each other, isn't that just like the most fun thing ever?

I know Conor haters wanted Khabib for their own joy and Conor fans are (apparently) happy with this fight because of style match ups and whatever other bullshit, but as someone who loves fighting? I think this is just gonna be fucking fun; perhaps even explosive.

If Conor cleans Nate out pretty quick then suddenly Conor vs. RDA has gotten really interesting and a fight worth headlining 200. If Nate subs Conor then suddenly the UFC is practically turned on its head. This is big. And fun as fuck.

That press conference was funny as fuck

You talk like you think this is the Nate who fought MJ over 2 months ago instead of the guy who's likely just been rolling in the gym and by his own admission hasn't been training much at all. Despite Baghdad "BoB" White claiming he's in great shape and training for triathlons.

If you're talking about styles pettis is easily the best fight.
Diaz is good but conor has allot more weapons, we know conor can deal with boxers.
Rda might just end up toying with Conor on the ground.
But pettis man whens the last time you seen anyone even land a bodykick on mcgregor?
Lots of spinning shit and that fights guaranteed to have some good exchanges, both durable guys with nasty striking.

And you seriously believe that? He also said he knew this fight was a possibility a long time ago. Dude is downplaying himself hardcore.

Did you even read my post you sad little like-hungry fucktard?

I read it, seems like the point is that it will be a fun fight and you're looking forward to it.

Not sure then why the title is Diaz > RDA, especially since you contradict it with your first sentence.

For what it's worth I agree with everything you said and also cannot wait to see the fight.

TS is not saying Diaz is better than Dos Anjos, he's just saying he thinks this fight is more interesting than Conor vs. RDA. Probably could have picked a better thread title though.

Part of me wanted the first fight because of the title on the line and a huge possibility of history being made, but Conor vs. Nate is pretty fucking fun, I'll give you that. I'm loving it too.

'>' is a mathematical sign for 'greater than', which I'm sure you know.

It doesn't mean 'better fighter than'. I tried to clarify that in the OP.

So really the title should be Diaz v McG > RDA v McG, right?

No worries, I didn't think you were trolling, just trying to get a little clarification so the title reflects the point of TT and you don't have to deal with flaming when there's no need.

Thanks for editing... probably saved me a bunch of grief!

Still not quite sure what just happened here.....

Was excited for the RDA fight, so to me this fight is somewhat of a letdown. Hopefully Nate is adequately prepared and will make it a great fight. It will depend on how active he was in training prior to the announcement.

I would rather him fight RDA,so would any sensible person.

This is just an awesome consolation prize.

The RDA injury was a major letdown but Diaz vs McGregor has the potential to be a highly memorable encounter. RDA vs McGregor will set up just nicely for UFC 200 I think.
