Social Diane Feinstein RIP

I mean, your response was an afront to human decency and had to be outed. I know you don't care and that's precisely the point. It's as if feelings of empathy and compassion are a weakness to some such as yourself. You didn't spare any moment in letting us know what you thought of Diane Feinstein's legacy. This is a person who served in the U.S senate since 1992. Who was mayor of San Francisco. Who survived two assassination attempts. She is the first woman to have chaired the senate intelligence committee, the senate judiciary committee and the senate rules committee. She was the person who found Harvey Milk basquing in a pool of his own blood after he was shot five times and tried to save him. She leaves behind her quite the political legacy. BUt you decided the opportunity to deliver an underhanded jab at her desire to stay in office a little longer than she should was too salient to pass up. That says a lot about your character.

Of course this is your internet persona. Who knows if real life social pressures prevent you from being an overt asshole. Sherdog offers the kind of anonymity where you can just be yourself and not have to worry about the consequences. Good for you
TLDR. I think I mentioned I do not care about your feelings for a senator you never met and didn’t give a shit about you. I’m sure this is a lovely obit but I’ll pass on reading it.

Yes, this is how elections work. 70% of Democrats want someone other than Biden, but it's not like they're gonna throw their vote away on Cornell West.

If you live in a solid blue or red state you are throwing your vote away by voting for Trump or Biden.

You did read it and you just don't want to respond to it so you're putting up a false bravado

Diane Feinstein never saw a War that she wasn't in favor of...

Katie Porter would be dope. Non-corporatist, and I'd laugh my ass off seeing the whiteboard of doom at Senate hearings.
I'd absolutely would love Porter to get the seat.
Sadly, I think that promise that Newsom made is going to make that impossible. He's pretty clearly gearing himself up for a future presidential run, and giving a senate seat to a white woman after promising it to a black woman isn't going to play well in the media.

What's your source? Gotta look at it to see the specifics.
Actually, the source I looked at claimed the info to be from Forbes but I can't find the original source on forbes.com. Here's something from the LA times showing her wealth grew substantially from a real estate deal - https://www.latimes.com/projects/how-much-are-they-worth/dianne-feinstein/
Feinstein was worth at least $58.5 million and gained $13 million last year, the largest increase of wealth of any California member in that span. The Democrat's riches were mostly due to a huge increase in her biggest real estate investment. Carlton Hotel Properties L.P., which owns the Carlton Hotel in San Francisco, was worth at least $25 million, five times as much as its minimum reported worth the year before.

FWIW, I wouldnt want Cornell West as President and I prefer him, as a person, to Biden. His lack of experience on diplomatic relations and policy-making stand out. Also activist Presidents arent going to go over well, he's a likely candidate for assassination.

Biden is right of center on the REAL Overton Window, but right now he is the best bet for Democrats UNTIL Newsome announces, if he does. It seems like that's the intention, but might not be. Newsome is doing what DeSantis should have done, however Newsome is also problematically corporatist. Josh Shapiro has the hallmarks of a much better populist candidate for Democrats, but he's too young in his career as a Governor.

The truth of the matter is that despite favorability ratings, Biden is an electoral powerhouse, and is making surprising moves and statements. Faux News have essentially been reduced to suggesting he shouldn't be President due to gaffes, while Trump is saying Jeb Bush got us into Iraq and he beat Obama in an Election, oh and that WWII is coming lol

She married a rich guy: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richard_C._Blum. You'd think a former cop would take 2 seconds to Google something before just making a serious accusation of a crime in public.

Well good for her. She was fairly wealthy as a mayor when they met and married. When he died, he was worth 1 billion. Now, before her death, Feinstein and her daughter were in a legal battle with Blum’s three daughters prior to Feinstein. They’re all greedy and overly wealthy. She was supposed to be a servant of the people, yet could not possibly be in touch with their needs or even have a remote understanding of what it is to struggle financially.

Oh boy, did you fucking step in it and before you run your mouth, maybe you should have googled Feinstein. She has been accused of abusing stocks in the past.

Dating back to before 1994 and ever since, she was involved in many many investigations and allegations about doing things to directly help her husband’s business which greatly benefited her. In 94, she set up deals with china that somehow, her husband got the contracts. In 2011, she voted on spending billions on the light rail and surprise surprise, he husband got that contract. Something similar happened in 2013. She voted to sell weapons to Israel and magically, her husband got that deal. She has long had relations with china dating back to the 70s and said in her past life, she was Chinese. She was constantly involved in legislation to foreign countries and no matter the country, her husband was involved and made money. She voted to spend billions on firearms for the military. Wanna guess who got that contract? Her husband somehow also bought or sold stock just before big things happened.

In early 2020, her husband reportedly sold off $6 million of a biotechnology stock right around the time that she was briefed about the coronavirus pandemic potentially hitting the United States.

On the day the new Congress convened this year, Sen. Dianne Feinstein introduced legislation to route $25 billion in taxpayer money to a government agency that had just awarded her husband's real estate firm a lucrative contract to sell foreclosed properties at compensation rates higher than the industry norms, the Washington Times reported on Tuesday

A review of the senator’s first two years in office found that Feinstein supported several positions that benefited Blum, his wealthy clients and their investments. She was a vocal proponent of increased trade with China while Blum’s firm was planning a major investment there. She also voted for appropriations bills that provided more than $100 million a year in federal funds to three companies in which her husband is a substantial investor.

Senate ethics rules permit Feinstein to vote on bills that affect her husband’s finances so long as the legislation is not designed to specifically benefit Blum or his investments.

She has been investigated multiple times and while she was cleared, she has been removed from committees because her husband kept benefiting from her decisions. She claims her and her husband didn’t talk about business, but that is millions of percent a lie. She used her position time and time again to float contracts to her husband’s
Companies, was involved in shell companies herself, and amassed a massive fortune and still, the greedy bitch was fighting for more in the bitter lawsuit against her late husbands daughters over his estate. All these motherfuckers are crooked as fuck doing insider trading and using her power to build her and her husbands wealth.

I can’t wait to have the same discussion with you when pelosi dies

Well good for her. She was fairly wealthy as a mayor when they met and married. When he died, he was worth 1 billion.

Doesn't look like he really was, but he was rich, and that's the main source of her wealth. No evidence at all to support your accusation.

Look at the ALLO chart for 2020, and read the Gish Gallop link about it. Sold near the low is not a sign of insider knowledge (and it soared after the sale, FWIW, though the company sucks).
