What kind of environment do you live in that makes you think that everyone knows people that have done things as bad as what Jones has done?

It's also rather weird not to hate on a woman beater or someone that makes his own children so scared they call the cops. I don't even want to think of all the things they've been through that we don't hear about.

I live where decent people sometimes make terrible decisions and believe that we’re all human and susceptible to such bad decisions with given circumstances.
I don’t condone such decisions but can empathize.

I think beating your woman and scaring your kids prevents you from being described as a decent person.

The same goes for constantly embarrassing your family publicly with drugs, adultery, etc. That's not the actions if a person that thinks of anyone before himself.

Never read about him beating his wife and scaring his kids. I agree beating a women or kids is pretty unforgivable.

The drugs and adultery thing is something that many decent people are involved with.

The incident happened in February so I don't think they would've waited several months if they saw this case as the last straw.

Fair enough.

A decent person can think of more people than himself, and Jones has really embarrassed his family over and over with his behavior. Adultery is also just for cowards that don't dare to be single, so they rather just hurt someone instead.

I don't think there's all that much more to say though. We all have our opinions.
